After being turned away for our food orders in 2 other local establishments, bare in mind they were more than happy to take our money and serve us drinks. We phoned this lovely place and got a table even though they were busy. Great food, fab staff and service. So thank you so much for fitting us in. We will be back very soon

Lovely country pub.
Bar staff were polite and efficient.
Food came hot and was very good.
Been here a couple of times and it's a good place.
Does get busy with food and seating outside so maybe ring ahead.
Dog friendly too.

Love the pub and have been coming for over 20 years on and off for the odd bite to eat, a pint as as this occasion a Sunday meal, the food was all cooked well with excellent portions.
The only downside on this occasion was the pudding, that I was salivating at the thought off, was stuffed with mushrooms and unfortunately for me its the food of the devil and cannot stand them. Really disappointing on this time as this was not listed as steak and mushroom and let the whole meal down massivly for me and my son, that will teach me for not asking what's in everything. Not an allergy so never mention it but they taste like soil and dirt too me.
But will be back and just an honest opinion on this visit.

Had lunch here today with my mum. We called in on the off chance of getting a table. It was very busy but we managed to get a table.
My mum ordered the pil pil prawns and Cauliflower fritters which she really enjoyed. The Cauliflower fritters came in a huge bowl which we was surprised about as they came under the nibbles section.
I ordered the small bite chicken Gyros that I personally wouldn't call it a small bite it's was quite big thou I am not complaining as it was very nice the chicken inside it was stunning and the mint yogurt was delicious.
Service and food was absolutely 10/10
I would also like to note that the menu is one of the best menus I've seen in a pub in a long time.
There was so many options to choose from. It was really hard to decide what to order so we will definitely be back to try all the other items that we didn't get to try.

We visited, last night, for food and drinks. It was superb!! Greeted by friendly staff, food was fabulous. The prices are very reasonable too. Thoroughly enjoyed it...Will definately return. Highly recommended.
