Kids box at £4.50 only came with a sandwich and a bag of crisps(not much choice on crisps either) had to pay extra for a drink, the bread/ham used was too thick for a child. Soup of the day was lovely but the bread that came with it was low quality and not generous with the amount either, not great value for money lately.

Lovely afternoon tea today. We came to the pavillion for afternoon tea for 3. It was amazing the food was so good. The staff were lovely and attentive, we couldn't eat it all so ended up taking some food away for later. We will definitely be back. My mum and sister loved it. Thank you again. ?

My wife and I wanted to treat ourselves for breakfast out, and I wish we hadn't.
Breakfast rolls tasted and felt stale and very dry, sausages had gristle in them, etc - giving impression that cheap ingredients are going into the kitchen.
Service was also chaotic with our 3 breakfast item orders all being served about 5 minutes apart from each other, making it difficult to enjoy sharing breakfast together when one of us had to eat while the other wasn't, or else have our food get even colder.
Afraid we won't be coming back.

This place has a rule of no pushchairs and also no wheelchairs.
No wheelchairs is discrimination under the equality law and the disabled act 2010 and it is against the law. If a wheelchair can access your building then you cannot refuse entry.

Lovely food, especially the chips (which is strange for me to have loved them as normally I don't care for chips )
as they were absolutely incredibly tasty and nice and crisp, BOTH me & my friend agreed.
The choice to have the quiche was very good as I received a huge piece.
My ONLY negative comment is that there's far too much pastry on the quiche, but all in all, we had a great lunch served by the friendly staff in extremely clean & pleasant surroundings & the cost was reasonable.

Visited here many times and never disappointed. Good quality food at reasonable prices. BIL said best omelette ever and that includes ones they make himself.
