It was a busy day for the staff so when I got there I had a wait to be served. Staff were nice and chatty and just think they had been rushed off their feet. Nothing to stop me returning and I will be back.

We came as a group of 8 yesterday and the service was shocking as the table was not even set for us and we'd book in October for the meal . Once we was sat at the table we waited nearly an hour for our starters . Then as we had finished our starters we had to ask staff if our main meals was ready and the starter pots was still on the table . And when the meals came the turkey meal was cold and uneatable and the steak meal was like rubber . Then once we had finished the main meals the staff was bring the deserts to us with the plates from the main meals still on the table . Usually the staff are very good and will ask if everything is OK, not one member of staff as us as we would have raised our concerns with them at the time .
And I understand its a busy time of year but we have been coming to the Yarrow bridge for year and on boxing day as a family .
This as put us off from going again and we didn't leave a tip unlike on previous times .

Average food, high prices and absolutely shocking excuse for bacon on a burger. Two of us had the smallest sliver of Bacon. Unsure how the chefs thought that was acceptable.

Terrible service. Waited for half an hour before staff asked if we were ready for our starters which we had pre ordered. The starter was fried so long I feared that I would break my teeth. The main course was dried up, roast potatoes had been left in the oven for about 3 hours, never came to ask if we wanted sweets which we wouldn't have had as we couldn't wait any longer. Forgot to take the deposit off which we had paid. Never again!!!

I recently visited the Yarrow Bridge Pub in Chorley, and overall, it was a great experience. The pub is spacious and comfortable, with a friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. I was staying at the hotel next door and decided to pop in for breakfast. The price was excellent, and I appreciated the bottomless coffee, which was a nice touch.
The food was tasty and satisfying, though it arrived a little colder than I'd hoped. The hash browns were hot and crispy, so it seems like the rest of the meal might have been plated a bit too early while they finished the hash browns. Despite that, for the price, it was still very much worth it.
The warm welcome and laid-back vibe make the Yarrow Bridge a solid choice for anyone staying nearby or just passing through. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area!

Cheap but not cheerful ! Really basic food , just heated up rubbish if I?m brutally honest! On the mix grill The chicken is like plastic / fake chicken. A lot better places for the same money , really basic food but nice pub and Guinness is ok
