BEWARE The Tesla direction router does not inform you this charger is NOT available if you are headed southbound. You either have to have a special gate code to open and get across the bridge over the motorway or you get sent on very extended run southward, off at next junction - then back up north to get to charger ---and vice versa when you wish to return on your southbound journey. Luckily we got the code off a passing driver who knew it . But this is random and not typical slick hassle free expereince that most Tesla chargers are. Very strange and stressful experience when low on charge.

Another brilliant Tesla Supercharger at Charnock, Chorley. It was a welcome break on a long road trip, and the charge was fast and reliable as usual. The restrooms were clean and spacious, and there were plenty of fast food options nearby. I enjoyed a delicious burger and fries while waiting for my car to be ready. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was easy to find. I highly recommend this Supercharger to anyone who needs a quick and convenient recharge.

Charged M6 northbound to Lakes on 8/9 and charged again returning M6 southbound on 12/9, by u-turning at the next junction south. For southbound, my Tesla satnav was directing me to u-turn junction to the south then u-turn junction to north. A Tesla arrived through the restricted barrier, so I chatted to the driver. 4-digit PIN + <ENTER> got me through. Ramada "didn't know" the PIN, but I wasn't a guest. Google Charnock Richard Barrier Code. 150kW shared between A/B chargers.

Good supercharger station in grounds of Ramada hotel. Very fast, easy access. No problems of access or queuing. Of course, once charged you have to move off the site onto the main service area car park and that is a different world. Congested, noisy and unpleasant as are the facilities themselves. Toilets not very clean queues for ladies.

Plenty of chargers. Beware if you are coming south as the small road connecting southbound to northbound has recently had a barrier added. Ramada Inn will only share the code if you are a guest.

For a one night stop over on the way to the lakes it was perfect, great location, dog friendly, with good spaces to walk and Tesla superchargers on-site. We had checked in online as we planned to arrive late, the check in staff were very pleasant and efficient. The room was basic but very clean, with a reasonably comfy bed. For the price paid it offers good value for money.

Stayed here in a pet-friendly room on our way south and were very happy with the room so we we booked for another overnight stay on our return journey. Well-located and quiet despite the proximity to the motorway. Spacious and clean room. Great area outside for walking our dog. Only negative was the noise from the kitchen which made our dog bark from time to time.

Clean and easily located next to the M6, this was a great hotel for my business trip. Was concerned that given the proximity to the M6 it would be noisy, however the rooms were very quiet. Food was on a par with a number of more expense places I have stayed in. If you are a Tesla owner, there are also plenty of charging posts. Would definitely stay again.
