Was helped to change my name by Norma. Extremely friendly and such a happy, helpful lady. She couldn't change it for me, but she photocopied all my ID for me and even got me a pre paid envelope.

Went in this afternoon, air con was a welcome relief.Was dealt with quickly at the counter by a very friendly employee called Sue.I often visit this branch and also the Halifax in Chorley just round the corner.Though in contrast to Santander, every time I visit the Halifax one the members of staff there get on my nerves in some way.

DATA PROTECTION BREACH and VILE TEXT MESSAGES FROM STAFF. Yes you read that correctly. Open a bank account and you may receive a courtesy text message when the â??professionalâ? who opens it for you decides to take your phone number off the Santander database and send you vile text messages... Donâ??t bother complaining though because the complaint will be ignored and the banker will still be working there despite the distress he caused you. You will get no apology just an automated letter stating that it has been dealt with. Taking advantage of vulnerable adults to satisfy his own sexual desires. Thatâ??s Chorley for you folks. Corrupt system avoid at all costs
