I had the new Buffalo chicken burger topped with a chicken wing & served with onion rings and chips (delicious) and my husband had the chicken jalfrezi with onion bhajis and poppadoms.
Friendly service.
If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the upstairs bar is great (was a Tuesday eve, may be busier on weekends).

You know it's a spoons and so it's busy and this place gets busy most of the time but they offer the same great value, what's not to like. Staff are helpful and hats off to the lady who serves the food she is a trooper always on the go very busy she's a credit to this place and really looks after the customers

Being a big fan of Wetherspoons me and my wife decided to visit this one for breakfast on a recent visit to Chorley market. The pub itself is very nice inside and I ordered using the app as I normally do. Two breakfast with coffees and the cups arrived very quickly. On going to get the coffees, one of the two machines was not working which left me waiting in a queue of ten people waiting to get a drink with many of them waiting to fill two cups. By the time I eventually got our coffees and returned to the table our breakfasts had arrived and were now almost cold. My wife said she had mentioned the wait and was told by the staff member that it wasn't her fault. Although the breakfast service was quick I had to leave half of it as it was not very nice. As I previously said I enjoy visiting Wetherspoons on our travels but on this occasion a big thumbs down.
