Arrived at the Hartwood at 2040 for some food to be told the kitchen was already closed. If you say your open till 9 then you should be.

Me and my family visit here quite often for food and it is always great and very well priced. When we arrived it was quite busy and our son has autism so we asked for a quieter table. We were served by a man named Mike and he couldn?t have been more understanding and helpful. He was very polite to us all and asked on several occasions if we were okay and to let him know if we needed anything throughout our visit. Lovely man! Great experience overall once again, i would definitely recommend

Staff were exceptional no question was a bother and we had a few. Access was made as soon as we walked in for our wheelchair. The food was amazing - highly recommend the mini grill definitely not much mini about it?. You must definitely try both the apple crumble and the sticky toffee pudding custard and sauce both mouth wateringly good. Hubby even got a complimentary taster of a new ale. We'll definitely be going again very very soon.

Great place to stay, great food and service, very friendly staff. Very good rooms just had a slight issue with the tv oriel. Would definitely use this place again.

Loyal customers for years and I have never been so disrespected in my life.
I always spend good money there and up until today I wouldn't eat anywhere else.

Really cute place to stay with pub next door. Not far from Chorley town centre. Room comfortable. Pub great. Breakfast really nice - eggs benedict yummy. B and B booked.

Nice place stopped off once or twice over the years and always a decent drink inside where it's nice and inviting. Had lunch this time outside and was great good service nice food. Staff very friendly too.
