This is the first time I have been to this store. It has many branches in the UK. If you look on YouTube about these stores, they can have mixed business model reviews. But you know it could be fake news! The walls are covered with second hand games media disks, smartphones, Blu-ray films, DVDs. They advertise they can repair devices. Although I do not need their help at the moment. I looked intensely at movies and bought one at 30% of Amazon prices. The media I bought was a Blu-ray of 'the Shining' in 16:9 format. The Blu-ray played ok. The box is empty. When you buy they find the disk and put it in your box. They do this as they have problems with people stealing all the time. If you into posh smartphones they have a range available with some costing £1k. The staff are friendly. It reminds me of the movie 'Blade Runner', old hi - technology in racks in a market - type setting.

Decent range of stock however when I asked the 3x staff stood behind the counter doing nothing but chatting, if they sold hard drives, they said no. So I took a look around and found 4x of them in a display case.

The store is run by children who accuse you of being a liar, bought a product from their website back in 2023, went to sell it back to cex Chorley for them to tell me this is now how we sold it to you...why would I lie for £10... This company has gone really down hill over the years and will not be using this company again.. the store needs to learn simple customer services skills

Picked up a game for my ps4 Tuesday am 10/12. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and even apologized as the computer was a little slow which was not a problem. Great customer service.

Extremely unfriendly and standoffish workers with blue hair and piercings who all convey a sense and feelings of hatred towards you for being a polite and paying customer. Not pleasant to go in, and I'd go in so much more if they didn't exclusively hire these types with awful social skills and a chip on their shoulder. Recommend you hire some capable staff.

Chorley store is a joke , took in an item got given a price which I agreed . Signed all paper work etc and gave my bank details for a transfer because was told they didn?t have the cash in store , Got a call last thing in the day to say that all of a sudden could not take my item as it had a ?scratch? but yet person in store had looked and already graded it . Absolute con artists AVOID

Idk if I'll ever really trust games from them again. I bought a game from them, didn't work. I wanted money back and they said, "Well we'll have to test it." ???? Why don't you test them all before you put them on the shelves. They even admitted it had a few deep scratches. I bought it one day, took it back the next, them scratches were there when I bought it clearly. Like huh. Bought a switch from them, it's fine. Sold them my electronics sometimes. Fine. But in terms of games. They kinda suck. Bought a switch game from them. My switch didn't like it when I put it in. Every game I got from amazon has never had that problem. I just buy games digitally at this point or I go to Wigan because Chorley has no good game shops anymore. Sad really.

I have difficulty walking and this place is so hard to get to. They agreed to buy my tablet but then said they needed 45 minutes to test it, how hard can it be???
