A very quick review
Watch the opening times!!!
A really interesting selection of cask beers brewed a very short distance away ( less than a five minute walk!) Different strengths & the two I tried were very good.
The pub is spotless, it has a small well stocked bar with outside space to one side.
I will definitely return as the first time I was thwarted by the restricted hours on the day visited.
Certainly worth finding to enjoy locally produced beers.

A well deserved entry in the Good Beer Guide - the six cask ales are all brewed less than half a mile away in Carnforth and the two I tried were in perfect condition.
Helpful, friendly service is always a bonus and this pub oozes it. Well worth the 10 minute walk eastbound from the ? station.

A brilliant pub. My wife and I are on holiday at a local caravan park. We and our dog were made very welcome as soon as we walked in. As more local people came in, the welcome got better, and the folks were genuinely interested in us and where we came from. Now the beer. As a member of CAMRA. The beer is excellent, Qbrew. Is a local Carnforth brewery I can highly recommend.
Parking: Very Dog friendly.

First time visit after a year of going past. Lovely pub..didnt eat anything and don't even know if they serve any food but good pint and lovely inside and out.

Called in yesterday afternoon, excellent choice of beers, brilliant atmosphere and very dog friendly. Was made to feel very welcome by Jennie and all the locals. Will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

Friday 18th August 2023This pub is a fantastic micro pubThis pub is a sister pub of the snug on carnforth stationThe ample amounts of handpumps on today were all interesting and very well keptThe landlord and staff member today were very real ale orientated, which was why the beers were so goodThere is a comfortable interior to the place the local followers who come here are mostly real ale suppers ???There is a pleasant outdoor drinking place at the back of this pub also
