Not bad for a day out, big play area for the kids to play in, I recommend taking a change of clothes and a towel because the play areas have interactive water features, admission prices are a bit high in comparison to other family day out attractions, lots of different types of Ducks, Geese, Swans etc to see and some really cute Otters too, there's also Canoes available too, I didn't venture on them though because I'm a bit heavy and didn't fancy recreating a small scale version of the Poseidon Adventure ?

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
I want to come back again with a longer lens so I can sit in the hides and photograph the birds

Fantastic.
Bought tickets online to takes my friends 5 and 6 year old for the day, I dodntr really know what to expect bit it was brilliant. The kids loved it.
I play areas both with wetplay areas in them, plenty of seats for adults around too so we can watch them play.
We watched the moth release which was really interesting to learn about, spent time pond dipping with netsand trays provided, looked at all the different birds, read some of yhe information boards and went on the boat trip (extra charge) all really good to the point I went and bought an annual membership.
The cafe is expensive, the staff were great, friendly and helpful but sandwiches cost more than at a motorway services, next time I will take some with us (knew they would be on the expensive side but not quite that much).
Coffee was Ok amd reasonably prices though, worth getting it in a takeaway cup even if staying in the cafe as the size was bigger but same price.
Definitely worth a visit.
It got busier in the afternoon but certainly didnt feel crowded at any point and the kids loved it although they were shattered once home.

My daughter loves it here, especially the paddle pool area and park.

The place itself was great absolutely no faults. A great day. However the young blonde woman on reception on the 26/07/2025 was so sneering and rude in her tone it really is a bad first impression. More customer service training needed. Not a nice experience

Such an amazing place. I wish we'd visited ages ago. We'll be visiting many times again in the future.

A wonderful place to spend some time in nature. A large site with a variety of walks and hides for those happy to walk a bit further from the main area. Lots for kids to do in the inner area with ponds and different birds to look at and a restaurant too. Wheelchair and pushchair friendly paths and most of the hides are very accessible and some have an upper level. Very well managed and lots of information about what you can see, recommend a visit if you're nearby.

A wildfowl haven and a lovely place to chill out. Canoe Safari for the family is fun for all. Plenty of free parking.

Limited options for the 5 and under
The play park is more suited to 5-11 year Olds
Expensive considering you could go to Blackpool zoo for a similar price!
