Best proper pub I?ve been to for such a long time. Amazing food - ordered fish goujons, hunters chicken - partner had prawns and mixed grill - just beautiful. The waiting staff are so well cared for by the mangers - great atmosphere - feels like a homely place to be. Heard people saying ?thank you for looking after them? ?great meal again? just great northern hospitality- I?ll go here when I need to just unwind - rely on great food and attentive and kind service. Manager on the food pass checking quality. Everything you would expect from well run place. Had to undo pants on way home - portions are amazing! Staff and service great! Just try Lancashire sauce! They sell it too! Thank you for a great day
