Assistant manager is incredibly rude.
Ushering children in an out like cattle in the morning and displaying a distain for children being in a place that keeps her in a job!
Staff calling for assistance openly (the queue at the till all heard the assistant) over the head set because there's more than 3 children in the store is a rude and bizarre practice! Not all children are thieves and shouldn't be treated as so! Also if this is a company policy then a sign should be placed on the front door and managed in a more professional manner!
Making a child feel uncomfortable in a store is not nice!
Learn some customer services!

Usually has good hot food when the woman is working and gives me plenty of time to eat on my daily commute. Nothing what so ever today and is typical when the younger lad is working the kitchen, always seems to be late when they're on shift. Big inconvenience to myself and other passers by en route to work

I have a business next door to the Spar in Burscough and have been there for Aprox 7 years. Today my daughter was working in my business for me when she was asked by a regional manager Mr Hunt to move her vehicle from their carpark. Her car was parked there so they could use the entrance to my business to park a 40 foot plus lorry to deliver goods. Over the last few years the drivers have damaged the fencing, smashed the gates and damaged signage. Not to mention this is a health and safety issue for people using my business. If they can?t manoeuvre without damaging all of the above, the next will be someone that gets in their way. They have the right to access but I will argue not for a juggernaut! MR HUNT OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT LIKE NOT GETTING HIS OWN WAY AND HAS DECIDED TO GIVE MY SMALL FAMILY BUSINESS A TERRIBLE REVIEW EVEN THOUGH HE HAS NEVER DEALT WITH ME. I find his staff on the whole RUDE and Obnoxious but it would appear they take direction from above.

Parcel dropped off at Burscough Spar for collection by Yodel.Staff member scanned parcel and advised email will follow as confirmation.As no email received I rang shop twice and was told there is nothing they can do and suggested I contact Yodel.!Yodel cannot help as I have no tracking number.Thank's to Spar I have no idea where my parcel is and it seems they couldn't care less!Avoid.

So convenient as open early and late hours. Good selection of fresh food and fruit and vegetables and especially great they sell locally supplied milk and eggs. A little more expensive but love to shop local.

I shop here 4/5 days a week. Friendly staff, hard working. Were all freezing over past few months because they had no heat in the shop! They now got tiny heater behind till. I usually feel better coming out than when I do going in. Thanks staff, you make my week that little bit better. x x x

Most members of staff are friendly but some aren't very polite and are rude. The shop is well cleaned and accessible, sells a wide range of products for a small shop. Generally OK, just ruined by some rude staff members.
