The food was absolutely lovely but they let themselves down with the hot drinks served them upon ordering but the food took a good while and the teapots aren't filled fully so we asked for some hot water . But having said that the staff are very nice and I would still recommend giving ? them a try thoroughly enjoyed and a very pleasant hour spent

Eaten here a few times. Foods always brilliant. Scrambled eggs and salmon is delicious, pancakes too. Highly recommended

I tend to come here quite a lot when walking my two dogs on the canal & stop to grab a cappuccino at Hugo?s.
Last week I got told I can get grab one of the bowls and fill it up with water for my dogs myself but unfortunately it?s not as easy as that when you?ve got hold of two dogs.
Am not petty by all means but the lady who told me that could have helped me.
A BIG thank you to Kerry for filling a bowl of water up for my dogs on the 24/03/25, she was very polite as we spoke. Also another Staff member seemed lovely as we spoke about different places where to walk the dogs!
Not forgetting the boss! What a nice guy he is ??

Went here for my daughter?s birthday as she is at Uni at Edge Hill . It was a lovely sunny day and we sat outside in the Courtyard. The food and wine was delicious but it was the lovely staff that really made the experience. A lovely friendly lady ( sorry I didn?t get name but she originates from Oldham) she really did go the extra mile and brought my daughter a lovely piece of chocolate cake.Thanks again for making her birthday lunch so special. We will be back next time we visit x

Dropped into Hugo's for coffee and breakfast as I was passing through the area. Sat in the sunny courtyard and wasn't disappointed. Great location, food and cheerful friendly service.

Good choice on menu, very friendly and helpful staff, well priced dog friendly (even providing dog sausages and treats), be lovely to sit outside when it's warmer!
