A very large Tesco store with a large car park and close proximity to Burnley Bus Station making it accessible to all. Wide variety of stock alongside other outlets such as pharmacist and tesco mobile shop onsite. Store is well laid out and everything is easy to find and staff on hand to help out when needed. Decent number of tills including seperate areas for self service and scan as you shop meaning there rarely is a queue when paying for your shopping. A definite showcase of what a supermarket should be like.

With a large under structure car park, access is easy. This particular Tesco Extra is larger than most I've visited, and roughly the same as the Bury superstore, so carries a vast range across all departments, from fresh produce to car care products. I have used it many times since moving to Burnley, I have never encountered any unhelpful staff, and rarely have they been out of stock on something I needed. I've also scored some great bargains in the homeware section, when clearance items have been heavily discounted. It's an airy, large space, when I visit, there are normally plenty of tills open, in addition to the usual automated check outs, which I prefer!?????

Both staff and security are so friendly. Any time I?ve had mobility issues due to injury always been provided with Mobility Scooter to use while shopping no questions asked. Thank you so much in those times of need.

A good Tesco. The store seems a bit quirky with one aisle where you have to pay before you leave that aisle. Plenty of stock and plenty of offers. The currency desk lady seems lovely. The downpoints to me are the incredibly slow self-scan handsets which can result in accidentally scanning something twice - and the permanent beggar in the doorway, nobody wants this.

Reduced pricing should be reflected at the till. On Saturday 25th January 2025, on my bill for my weekly shop, found 3 items with reduced price stickers
were full price on my bill. This is not the first time it has happened, in future, if I shop at Tesco again, will make sure at time of payment all reduced items have been entered per yellow sticker.

Went to the cafe in tescos for breakfast waited half hour to return it as it was cold waiting 15 mins to return only for it to be still cold not good at all

Great store overall, and staff and layout are great. Only let down is when selfish individuals park in Parent and Child only parking bays when they don't have children. Extremely selfish towards fellow customers and lazy. Hopefully, this Mercedes drivers will take that into consideration in the future.

I'd suggest you use a different supermarket if you want to pay with cash, out of 14 self service tills only 3 accept cash, all others are card payment only.
