They are excellent in the showroom, sadly that is the only time I would use excellent to describe them.I am still unable to wrap my head around how a business of its size that distribute to many countries could have such appalling customer service.I was promised a date in showroom for delivery that didn?t happen, I had to do a lot of chasing and there were many excuses for the reason it was delayed, it got to Christmas and I was promised delivery again, never happened. I was promised updates and calls that never came and when I called in January they were still in production it would be a couple of weeks, I emailed saying if they aren?t here within 7 days I am cancelling and want a refund and magically they were ready for delivery.I had a problem with units that once put on were not correct and I emailed support as we had to have a joiner out for longer due to the errors, I got the same email multiple times of ?this is how they should be? I wasn?t arguing how they should be but instead how they actually came. After clarifying this Gill in Customer services actually just started ignoring my emails.I let it go and just looked forward to having the other items delievered, after a month 1/2 of having the item it had rusted, they said it could be one of three days an engineer came out and when I asked for clarification on times I was ignored and had to send a prompting email.In short if you want good quality products and customer service don?t shop at REM

I contacted REM UK LTD to do the design on my first shop!The service I recieved was outstanding, I first met Scott on site when my shop was a shell, straight away he knew what design I wanted, within a couple of days I was invited to head office and shown around the showroom, the workmanship is by far the best I've seen, I then met francesca who talked me through my whole design idea and colour scheme, like Scott she got my vision from the off, after a couple of days I recieved my design by post amd email and work started! Thank you so much! Looking forward to REM UK LTD kitting out my second shop this year!!!

Edit following REM response:1) They were the chrome fittings that we paid for and not standard that you claim and this was an additional cost/ premium.2) the order was placed at the end of 2019. They were fitted and in use by 10th February 2020 and then followed lockdowns where we were closed 70% of the year.3) It is not only one plug but three separate units that are faulty. One of the stations has barely been used for electrical use but colour development.4) Your agents were unable to help Capital and as we have been advised by capital and also experienced for ourselves first hand your agents sighing constantly throughout the calls and lack of assistance.5) The plugs finally arrived a week later than promised and again we had to call you.6) You claimed on the telephone that there had been NO issues with the plug sockets, yet your reply states "Very few complaints" which contradicts what you had said and proves that the items were of poor quality and not fir for purpose.7) You completely miss the issue here and your reply is a direct attempt to mislead any reader of the review. You provided faulty substandard plugs at a premium and we understand things go wrong. But three plugs where one is barely used and whilst you have finally replaced them which you did not offer straight away you expect us to pay for the electrician to fit them. Had you have acted in a timely fashion, accepted that these plugs are faulty and had someone to replace them you certainly would not have had such a low review score. The score is based upon your agents, your agents attitude and your inability to replace faulty goods and expect our business to pay for your "shoddy" workmanship (charged at a premium extra price in the first place). Nice try at misleading people though. Your company choices.Poor quality and even worse customer service. We paid extra for chrome plug sockets at time of ordering. We opened in time for the first lockdowns and as such were closed for 70% of the first year or we would haven know. Sooner that the sockets were sub standard and not fit for purpose. One of the stations has been used approximately 10 times and the socket where the plastic is does not function properly. They now expect us to pay for an electrician to replace the faulty units even though they were sub standard. They refused to speak with us directly at first as we had ordered via capital ( who have been amazing I may add). They finally spoke with me this afternoon and went around in circles. The manager Lisa would t speak with us either but prompted the ?agent?. Hold your hands up when something is wrong and put it right REM. Why should we pay for your cheap inferior goods that we paid an extra premium for in the first place? So much for quality Uk manufacturing??.

Brilliant customer service, so helpful. We ordered hairdressing chairs and backwashes. All delivered on time. We noticed 3 months later that we were missing a plastic disc at the bottom of the chair. I asked to buy one thinking we would have to and within a day I received it in the post and free of charge!

Excellent service and quality products! I have two Rem mirrors that look great and the build quality is fantastic. I also had a chair made for my home which they happily personalized with a Burnley football club logo and claret and blue colours, as of my request. I will most definitely be looking to get more products off them in the future.

Extremely happy with the reception desk I recently purchased. Wanted to buy from a British manufacturer and very pleased I did. The quality is superb and all of our customers have already commented on how good it looks.Will definitely buy from REM again :).

REM give excellent customer service.I bought all the furniture from then for the Reception area which is very elegant and the display units are exactly what I was looking for.They refitted Beauty Rooms to exactly what I needed.The Nail Stations are to a very high standardOverall very pleased with REM and would certainly recommend them.

NEVER purchase heavy duty items from this supplier. I purchased a REM Tuscany spa couch through Salons Direct. After accepting my payment for £1311.50 the supplier then released a heavy duty form that details the couch weighs 108kg that is boxed as a single item! I immediately contacted the supplier to see if I could dismantle the couch to take it up three flights of stairs and I was informed this could be done st my own risk. They had already cleared funds from my account and I tried every way possible to obtain instructions how to do this. I also sent pictures of the width and height from my top floor that is quite a squeeze to fit large furniture items. Once my payment had cleared through their account I was told that R.E.M. do not offer refunds and was informed that I could dismantle the bed once it arrived. I was also informed that I would be given notice of the couch arriving!This never happened! The courier arrived without warning with 108kg box that he couldn?t even lift to the street level from the road to deliver my couch! What?s worse is that I had a a client waiting for her treatment whilst I tried to sort out the disaster! I checked the REM drivers paperwork and noticed that my number was incorrect on the delivery notice and refused the delivery due to a client waiting and no warning of the delivery.I am appalled by the level of customer care and the nefarious accusations that I unpacked the 108kg box myself and that the courier attempted to contact me with a number that was incorrectly written on his delivery form ?Naturally I had to refuse the item of furniture and assumed they had made an error. It became apparent a mistake was made as why would a company of this size send ONE man out to deliver 107kg of furniture without warning!REM have also stated that they attempted to contact me and that I should pay £243 for attempted delivery for the couch that should have never been approved! There is no way in hell that a woman of my size could unpack an item of this size on their own!The delivery charge has now been reduced to £175 off £1311.50 and I am still trying to receive a partial refund for an item of furniture that I did not receive nor did I receive notification of its delivery! Appalling customer care and I will never purchase from REM again! Please ensure you read the full description of size and packaging before paying for any furniture from this company as they will not accept refund even if they are at fault!
