My husband, our three children, and I visited Morrisons Café after a late shopping trip. Our youngest was getting hungry, and we weren?t sure what to expect. However, the café truly surprised us.
The prices were excellent and the food was served in a clean and orderly manner. The portions were generous. We ordered two Ultimate Breakfasts, one Chicken Tikka Masala, and three Kids Meals, including Mac and Cheese, nuggets with fries and beans, and a mini breakfast, all for just £23.
The dishes were impeccable. Even the children?s meal had beans served separately in another dish, preventing them from spilling onto the fries. This attention to detail stood out, especially compared to other supermarket cafés where portions are often served in disposable containers, resulting in messy meals.
The staff were incredibly kind. Asima, our server, was exceptionally kind, she went above and beyond, even bringing a balloon to our table for our youngest child, a thoughtful gesture that we all appreciated. It?s rare to find such friendly staff these days. Other team members were equally helpful and smiling.
The manager was courteous as well. When I complimented the excellent service, he seemed genuinely appreciative. In a time when finding polite staff can be challenging, Morrisons Café exceeded our expectations and it truly stands out.
And there?s more, they provide coloring materials for kids to stay entertained while dining. Everything was clean, well-served, and the staff truly went the extra mile. We?ll definitely be returning! ?

Used to be a fantastic cafe, especially the fish and chips, the fish is still ok but the chips have changed, it's not very good at all now, they had an issue with the fryer a few months ago, it was broken for ages and since then it has gone downhill, such a shame it was a cracking cafe but not anymore, always looked forward to go in morrisons cafe but will have to find somewhere else.

Cleanliness was an issue for me, i had to clean my own table and i saw another person doing the same. Secondly the service was shocking, the food was taking ages so i politely asked if they knew how long it would be and the cook came storming out angrily telling me how long. Finally food wasn?t great. sausages were burnt and bacon was fatty

For the money it?s not bad. Plenty of seating all though finding a clean table was a bit difficult.May have been because it was after dinner when I imagine it?s busy.Staff were very friendly and helpful.The food isn?t anything amazing but isn?t bad.As I say for the price you pay it?s relative to the quality.

Will only get drinks from now on, been twice and food awful, cold and ended up throwing most away. Just because you make things presentable on fancy plates does not make a meal. No cups available, no milk available, coffee machine broken. Ive watched this cafe go down hill and I don't know why they keep it open. It's not the staff fault,

Literally told we couldn't sit in here unless we have ordered food instantly as we sat down but not in a good tone, had a proper go at us, then after we had ordered another member of staff had a proper go at us for not ordering food even though we had and she treated me and My friend really badly, staff are horrible, discriminating just because we are college students.

Had to wait 15 minutes in queue.No cups for coffee on display so had to wait. We paid for mocha's, didn't have the ingredients available, so we got something else. Still got charged for mocha's.Had to clear our own table, as every single table was full of used plates.No condiments available, as well as no knives and forks. So we had to eat sausage and chips with a single spoon. We also paid for batter sausage and got charged just for sausage.No disrepect to the one single guy who was working but management should have forseen what was happening and delt with it... I.E closed the cafe.

Came in at 8am to be told I had to wait cause there was only one staff after 5mins was served only to find tables with yesterday food on and dirty knifes on from the day before.The mushrooms was half cooked, tomato raw.bacon was just cooked WIll not be going back
