Never leave a review but have eaten in here so many times. Food always good and freshly cooked and between us we have probably had most of the meat and chicken dishes.
Good portion sizes and well priced. Staff seem to vary a little but generally service is always good and friendly. Still wished Terry worked for Aldo as he was top drawer front of house.
Get yourself down to this hidden gem and sure you will be more than happy with the experience.

The food was very nice extremely hot when delivered to table exactly how you would want it reason for four stars is no disabled access that I could see of definitely check this before going staircase going down to basement area even though everything seemed to be on time there was only two staff that I could see running the restaurant but would recommend if no disabled people are with your party. Also, I could not see any disabled toilets.Wheelchair accessibility: To my knowledge they have no disabled access for wheelchairs and it happens to be down a flight of stairs not on street level

Booked at the last minute and came for my wife for her Birthday. absolutely awful, the drinks came which were prompltly dropped all over us, it took a good few minutes for them to move us and we were all covered in lager at this point. the drinks were eventually brought to our new table after we were asked if we had everything (no you dropped thedrinks on us). the food came which to be honest was just ok. having partially dried out we decided to risk it and ordered some more drinks and hoped that we would stay dry. Luckily for us, this time they dropped them just before they reached our table and spared our clothes another alcohol bath. The gentleman on the table behind us came and asked if we had brought our trunks with us, they had had 2 glasses of coke dropped on them at their table. went to pay the bill and the only recompense we recieved for this commedy of errors was for them to try and charge us for 3 lagers that we hadn't had.

We always have our group family party at Aldo?s. He consistently cooks delicious food? pizzas, steaks and sea bass were fabulous as always.. also a fabulous friend..

My wife and I had the misfortune to visit this restaurant, we have ate in a number of restaurants over the years but I can honestly say this was our worst experience, we were seated by a pleasant young girl who immediately said "we are short staffed so please bare with us", we ordered our meal and we were served with what I can only say was offal, it was disgusting, tasteless, and minimal in portion, we were charged £6.50 a pint which is dearer than City Centre Manchester, we left 90% of our food and the male waiter asked if everything was alright, I replied not really!, he apologised and spoke to the chef who gave us 10% discount, we left quickly to never return ever again, be WARNED.

We arrived last night quite late, think they were ready for shutting. The owner went above and beyond to welcome us and cook a beautiful starter and meal for 4 of us. The food was amazing and service was excellent. Thank you ?

Fantastic food. Bot dark and dingy bur the service on the waiting staff was shocking. Sat on her phone the whole time. Never offered drinks or ice cream for kids. Seemed irritated at having to be at work. Shame for the owner who has build a fantastic business and restaurant
