Because the other Burnley Aldi store is closed for refurbishment this week, I shopped at this alternative local Aldi store on Tue night.
Good thing I allowed plenty of time!
The store layout is a world away from the store that's closed for now.
I always thought such outlets conformed to a standard layout, but not in this case seemingly!
It seems very random in comparison to what I've got used to at "my usual Aldi", with nothing in order in a logical sense. It took me ages, but I eventually found most things on my list but came away a couple short.
The staff were as helpful as they could be but it emerged they were actually staff from the 'closed' store doing a bit of OT, so they were a bit confused as well!
I did find out the important fact of 'what day the other store opened again?' Something that had eluded me wherever l had asked. . . Friday this week! Thank goodness!!

Never enough people on checkouts

Anti-consumer store; they illegally refuse item returns. They refused a return for the people ahead of me because the unopened item they purchased was insignificantly dirty on the packaging - it was the insignifcant amount of dirt that is sometimes already on the item at purchase. They only bought the item a few days before they attempted to return it. They also tried to refuse a return for me because i briefly tried on a pair of shoes in a carpeted room - none of the tags were broken or taken off the shoes. I had my item for approximately 8 days.

I don't know what is it about this Aldi but it always looks untidy and messy. The fresh veg and fruit go off so quickly aswel.
The prices used to be much better - now not much difference between the top 5 , worth shopping around for deals.
No matter what Aldi you go in ,why are they always gossiping on those headsets - proper weird and unprofessional but hey ,that's just me
