Been here a few times as a HGV driver. The ONLY reason I stay here is because I don't have to worry that there won't be spaces left. You can pay for food vouchers however you are ONLY allowed to use them at Subway. Not to buy food to prepare yourself or buy fruit or use at the Gregg's or Burger king if you fancy. Nope, just subway. Probably best to just not bother offering food vouchers tbh

It is a service station and with that the prices are high. I understand that they have overheads. The facilities are good and clean which makes it a good stop off in my opinion.

The Starbucks girl on the till was very dismissive and the most miserable person working for such a large company I've ever met! I bought 2 drinks costing around £9 gave her a £20 Note and mumbles no less? Can't change it but did with no explanation a while after without moving away from the till.don't get it wasn't spending 50p. A different approach would of made all the difference. . To top it the black americano I ordered tasted like hot water!

If you're into spending lots of your undervalued UK currency on overpriced stuff in order to be thoroughly unsatisfied then this is the ideal place for you. In fact it's perfect! Marvel as your small budget gets swallowed up in just one or two purchases. If you need fuel then it's probably a great idea to sell something of value so you have enough cash to visit their extortionately priced filling station. It's also a good idea not to look at the fuel/money counter on the pump as you're filling up, unless you want to cry or have a heart attack. Or both.When I visited late at night the main services were closed & only the filling station was open, which contains items EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE than the main area. At least the toilets were clean & free but there was a horrendous sewerage smell throughout the whole area.The man behind the counter was devoid of any personality whatsoever & looked like he was about to spit at me for just being there paying for the ridiculously overpriced drink I bought.It's a shame Maps only allows a minimum 1 star rating. All UK motorway service stations deserve ZERO STARS.Don't buy anything. Just use the toilets then leave...unless they start charging for those as well.

Stop ripping people off ! I was going to fill up but no chance ! I am not on this earth to pay for people?s Ferraris are Lamborghinis you have no shame or sympathy for cost of living ! It?s time people stuck up to service stations stop ripping us off !

We stopped on our way to St Anne's near Lytham for a short break.Good selection of food outlets and a shop.The only issue on the day was the gent's toilets being out of action. Had to use the port a loos outside.

This was a very good motorway service, with lots of different amenities to help you rest during your journey. At our time of going to Rivington, not many things were open and the place was quite cold.

Good services, a nice selection of drink and food. It has a variety of shops, (Greggs, Burger King, Starbucks).I recommend this if you are on the M61.

Clean toilets. Adequate parking. Greggs, Subway, Burger King Starbucks, and a spa and games area. Has what you need for a service station to freshen up.

It's a Services. Depending on where you park, there might not be a footpath to get to the main building. Clean, lots of food choices.

I quite liked this place, despite having to divert past it because the M6 was blocked. Seemed bright, spacious and airy. Decent coffe and selection of food, and a good shop (can't remember the name) selling magazines, books and road maps. Toilets were good and clean

Decent services handy when on the go. But the parking is a ridiculous price after being there for a certain length of time!
