Absolutely terrible service. I went in to pay cash into the bank. A lady called Joe served me who was rude and unhelpful. The cash deposit machine didn't work and she blamed me for jamming it by putting notes into the machine. Then instead of offering to serve me at the counter she tried to escalate the situation by continuing to accuse me of jamming the machine because I folded the notes. I said several times 'Please can you just serve me at the counter'.
Meanwhile there were customers leaving to go to Preston because the service is terrible.
I made a complaint but the staff all covered up for each other making up lies claiming I was aggressive. I did not raise my voice once or use profanity and have been a business customer here for 10 years.
I note the last 5 reviews are all 1 star ratings about the terrible service and rude staff so I am not the only person to experience this appalling service. Such a shame they can't train the staff to be more helpful and professional.
I will be filing a complaint to the financial Ombudsman.

This is about TSB online. I tried to open a current account online and despite having a good credit score and never had bad debt or late payments I was declined. It gives the option to appeal so I thought I'd give it a try. Too many questions to answer and it also wanted me to upload the last 3 months bank statements and also upload proof of earnings. I gave up at that point because it's not worth the hassle. What's wrong with banks these days? I wanted to pay in and also open a savings account, not applying for loans or overdraft!!! It also said you can also apply at a branch. The nearest one is 30 minutes drive because they close them all down

Tried to put check in yesterday via the mobile app but it wouldn?t do it saying that the name wasn?t right totally right did it a number of times had to spend time out off a busy day to get it sorted not happy at all

Just popped in today to transfer a significant amount of money! The member of staff was courteous and more than helpful and the experience was less than five minutes to complete!

HORRIBLE CONDESCENDING MANAGEMENT. Always, always have to wait at this bank. They close counter service very early. Luckily there are chairs to sit on. On average the wait is 15-20 minutes even with no que. But I have waited over half hour just to be served. I can?t recommend this bank. The only reason I stay is because I?ve been with them since they split from Lloyds. My loyalty is running thin now.
A more recent visit I was me by Sam the ?manager? who told me I will have to wait with everyone else. I asked how long, she replied ?as long as it takes?. I mentioned that I can walk into Halifax and be delt with instantly, in a smart condescending tone she replied ?Thats lovely, maybe you should bank there instead? Before my blood boiled and she received a piece of my mind I departed. After banking with them for 15 years I'm done with TSB. Sam is not fit for purpose, her lack of professionalism, immaturity and degrading customer service prove that she must have climbed the ladder to management on her knees.

Popped in bank to deposit cash , had to use machine as there was no teller serving .
I put my cash in the machine inside the bank and it rejected some notes , this happened repeatedly, a female bank staff was standing, so I said °Excuse me the machine keeps rejecting my cash '
She said in a nasty tone ,' First of all I was talking to someone " this was not true , she continued to have a terrible attitude and spoke in a horrible tone , i asked why there was no tellers and she ignored me .
Obviously she was in a bad mood and decided to take it out on me , speaking to me like a schoolchild .
I took my money and went to the local post office where the customer service is a million times better.
The young lady in Blackpool TSB should learn how to be nice to customers,
If she doesn't like her job she shouldn't take it out on the customers .
I can't recommend this bank to anyone and it will probably close ,
Use the Post Office instead.

I've been a TSB customer for years. The service I received from the Blackpool branch was appalling and made me want to change banks. What an awful, rude woman. If you're thinking of opening a child account I highly recommend the Halifax instead. The difference between the customer service at Blackpool TSB and Halifax are like night and day.

I nipped into the Blackpool branch to pay some cash into my business account. Unfortunately I didn't have my card on me so I was told there would be quite a considerable wait as there was nobody serving on the counter (as seems to always be the way at this branch!).
When you dare to mention to the staff about the lack of counter service watch how fast their attitude changes and they turn on you!! She told me it was my own fault for not having my card on me. Yes it was, but as a Client that pays a considerable amount if money each month for my account I don't expect some jumped up member of staff to speak to me like a naughty schoolboy.
Rubbish bank, terrible app, and awful staff/customer service.
I definitely need to find a new bank!

16/02/24.Terrible staff, very intimidating and unhelpful. I was shown the door by manager Sam and account suspended as trying to transfer a large sum of money to another a/c or bank for interest as a current A/C..Completely a joke as staff controling and abrupt in most ways .looking like Ombudsman again as getting nowhere.Was told mishandling of our own a/cs lol.TERRIBLE....??? Just unbelievable.RegardsCo Director. Will keep you all updated if and when.Been told could take 2weeks 22/02/24.Allways have at least 2 banks.24/02/24 still no news phoned everyday banks.Everyone says different things terrible.Still waiting terrible. 6/3/24 My mother had to return from Spain to sort aged 90 what a joke still took 1 hour non believing her .Sam the manager again.

Just been in to withdraw some money wish is over the amount you can in a atm there is no casher on the tills and the assistant there said i have to order it what is the point of having a branch when you can't draw money out
