Pulled in by chance for breakfast on New Year's day and found a nice warm pub with good friendly staff. All you could eat breakfast, my only complaint would be the toaster, put it through once it was under toasted, put it through twice it was burnt.

Very regular never had a bad experience we are ex landlords of 30 years experience and toby is our favourite. The managers are so friendly along with the staff....well done and all the best gor 2024

Staff were lovely. On a works Xmas do and half the stuff was not available on the festive menu. Mushroom starter very disappointing, boiled button whole mushrooms just dumped in instant cheese sauce, no pate, no Xmas pudding no ice cream . Was not busy either, it was 4 pm .

Absolutely fantastic! When we arrived we were greeted and lead to our table. The service was amazing. Im on a gluten free diet all the food was checked for gluten and then my vegetables and potatoes were cooked separately to avoid cross contamination. I was also brought freshly washed cutlery again to avoid any cross contamination. The food was really good especially the roast potatoes and the mash. My husband had a couple of the light bites and said they were really good.Thank you for turning what was thought to be a quick pit stop into a lovely meal/experience and definitely left me feeling safe/happy about my food which doesn't happen often when I eat out.Dietary restrictions: Fantastic service for a gluten free diet. All foods were double checked and prepared separately. Even my cutlery were freshly washed to avoid cross contamination.

Had a lovely carvery. The staff were pleasant, friendly, helpful and efficient! Will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area! Definitely a 5' Carvery!Parking: Was lucky to find a disabled parking space close to the entrance as walking any distance is difficult atm due to having heart disease.

The staff are always friendly and can never do enough to help. I am impressed on the training they recieve around assistance dog and disabilities. You set an excellent example of great customer service. ?

Absolutely disgusting place to order from! If they have no turkey they should make that clear. 1 small tub of gravy for 2 people. No Yorkshire puddings. No mash, just some cauliflower cheese, and barely any potatoes. Beef was all fat. Basically just got a tub of veg all mixed together. For the amount they charge this is ridiculous! Don't waste your money on this joke of a place

When we arrived tonight my partner and I were asked to wait in the seating area to be shown to a table. After overhearing several customers complaining to the manager about terrible service, I can't say I disagree. We waited where the manager told us for well over half an hour, in that time not one member of staff spoke to us, updated us, nothing. All the while we could hear the manager loudly talking to another member of staff about how he had "just gone mad" at the kitchen staff due to a customer complaint, talking about how they're "paid to give customer service" all the while giving zero good customer service himself to customers.After hearing a member of staff tell some customers they were not taking any more walk ins, I asked the member of staff if we were not going to be seated tonight. "If you've been told to wait then you'll get a table" in an annoyed tone and after another 15 minutes of waiting, no attempt at an update on how long before we'd be seated and clearly being forgotten about, we left.Absolutely abysmal customer service. The place was not overly busy when we walked in and was almost empty by the time we walked out to make matters more annoying and confusing. I don't mind waiting for a table, but having no communication from staff members on how long our wait would be was the main problem.

We booked a table but they couldn't find my booking. Then, when we were seated, there was no cutlery. Got to servery there was no pork. No mash and no roast potatoes. Basically, it was a shambles. There was a young lady waitress though, Roxy I think her name was who was very helpful, and even managed to grab us some roasts. I get that it's busy on Sundays, but surely they should be staffing accordingly.

We just visited Toby Carvery Preston New Road, Blackpool. I can?t rate the service and the food anymore highly. The customer service received from Stacey and the team was outstanding. Eating out with a 2 year old is stressful. Especially in a group of 7. However we were able to relax and enjoy our meal without being rushed. They couldn?t have done anymore for us. Will definitely be back ?

We booked a table for 20 and if I have any complaints it?s a minor one. Our waitress Stacey was superb, she couldn?t be faulted, she kept on top of put parties needs very well. She really was great. My only qualm was the queue for the carvery. There only seemed to be one chef serving customers and there was a lengthy wait. Food was gorgeous though and service from Stacey was as I said superb.

Starter took 40 minutes to come, when they did it looked like they'd been microwaved in about 2 minutes and was missing advertised bread, manager wanting to put everyone in one area rather than spread them out, weird...... no prices on menus except for mon-fri 2 course price. Actual Carvery was quite nice, ruined by staff to be honest, Go to any other Toby Carvery unless you're desperate.

The carvery was tasty, hot and plentiful. Meat was delicious and veg topped up as needed. Only downside was Yorkshire pudding was oily on the bottom but we can all have a Yorkshire disaster day. The staff were also lovely, attentive and looked happy in their work. It makes a change to be served by pleasant people. We will definitely return.

We visited as part of our journey to Blackpool, a quick easy evening meal.The service was excellent, the food was excellent and as we said to the server when we paid the bill, it was without question the best carvery we had ever had.The veg accomplishments and the roasts were all of exceptional quality.
