3 years ago, I chose to rent through Tiger Sales & Lettings because the property was stunning, and despite hearing horror stories about the agency, I thought, ?How bad could it really be??
That was, without question, the biggest mistake I?ve ever made. This agency is utterly unprofessional, disorganised, and downright rude. They should not be allowed to operate.
From October 2022 to June 2023 ? nine full months ? I endured an horrific, ongoing leak in the flat. The damage was extensive: the living room became unusable, mould began to grow in the carpet and on the walls, and the overall condition of the flat deteriorated drastically. The leak first started on one wall, and then spread to cover the entire living room. It was my first time moving away from home (outside of university), and not once did they offer any meaningful support. This was not my responsibility, yet I was left to resolve the issue, which was very overwhelming. I was paying Tiger Sales & Lettings for a service that they were not delivering.
Yes, they did reduce my rent slightly ? the one and only thing they did right ? but this felt more like a reluctant concession than an actual solution. They never actually fixed the issue, never communicated properly, and left both myself and the property owner in a terrible position. The woman who owned the flat has had her property ruined due to this agency?s incompetence and negligence.
Despite raising the issue multiple times, my complaints were not only ignored ? I was met with hostility. The manager of the firm even became verbally aggressive and tried to intimidate me during one of my calls. Absolutely disgusting and vile behaviour.
The day I ended my tenancy was the first time I truly felt relief. Every estate agent I?ve dealt with since has been a dream in comparison ? respectful, caring, communicative, and professional. Tiger Sales & Lettings is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
I cannot emphasise this enough, PLEASE avoid them at all costs.

Not very happy with the service as I booked a viewing and it got cancelled without me even knowing I had to ring up to find out what time my viewing was to be told it has been cancelled. The communication is shocking.

Nobody answers the phone after trying for over an hour the voice mail told me I would receive a call within 2 hours but never did so I took it upon myself to go and speak directly to the staff to enquire about a property immediately as I entered I was greeted by a female member of staff who was very quick to dismiss my questions and told me to wait for the agent named Micheal who was on the phone at the time. As soon as Micheal finished his phone call he asked why we were there so I explained I was interested in a property baring in mind I was not asked to sit down or anything I was stood at the reception desk with everybody listening he told me that to ring for enquiry?s to which I said I tried for well over an hour Michael was then incredibly condescending and patronising and proceeded to find every excuse to justify why nobody was answering the phone saying that they are short staffed and have lots of work to do baring in mind that the 3 female members of staff where sat chatting and laughing the entire time. I felt judged as soon as I entered and exited that place. I will 100% not recommend this place horrendous staff with terrible manners.

I've had 2 problems with my property since moving in, both times the woman on the maintenance line was really friendly and nice and repair people here within an hour to sort the problem.

Had my house up for sale with another estate agent for 3/4 months and didn?t have one offer, had it up with tiger for 2/3 weeks and was sold. Only thing I could say could be improved on is the communication, a buyer pulled out of the sale and found out off my solicitor not the estate agent but plucking at straws really. Would sell my house again through them.
Renting out a house through them is a different story though, I used tiger to rent out my property as I worked abroad and stayed with my partner when I was back, left them to deal with it, inspections , fixing it ect, I took out their gold package, I moved back to England and in with a partner and I contacted them numerous times to get a lower, less expensive package and each time I got ?oh he?s not here atm hell call you back? but they never did. They charge absolutely extortionate prices to fix things in the house so you?re best off finding someone to fix it yourself for hundreds of pounds less, they charged me 700 quid for gas and electricity safety cert as I was extremely naive to the cost of things and with me being out the country I just wanted it done there and then. I didn?t receive any rent for 3 months till I rang them and asked what?s going on and they said ?oh yeah what?s your bank details?
The inspections aren?t worth the paper they?re printed on, once the house was taken back over by myself, it was absolutely trashed, carpets ripped up, Broken kitchen cupboards, boiler was shot, house stunk of dog urine, doors missing and damaged, fridges fly tipped out into the back garden.
DO NOT RENT OUT YOUR HOUSE WITH THEM.

We had a great experience with Tiger Agency during our tenancy. The team was professional and helpful throughout, and everything was handled smoothly from start to finish. I?d especially like to thank Jodie, who was always quick to respond and answered all our queries patiently and clearly. Her support made the whole process much easier. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service again, I really can't fault these guys. Sold my house (well its just going through at the moment) in less than 2 weeks. Had loads of viewings in a very short time and the offer I received was above the asking price. The phots Jacob took were ace and the video too. Brilliant.

Absolutely useless They couldn't care about potential tenants Looking for a property ignored multiple times on emails asking information on properties or if fitted the Criteria for a potential Property
Emails apprent just go into junk emails
So not responded to or seen which means you miss on potential viewings for properties
Generally thought I'd got somewhere when asked how I'd like the application sent over which replied to receive by email
A few days went by nothing had been sent then Found out the property had been let after was told the landlord would accept and We would need to fill in a application form
The person Who Emailed was called Bonnie
Very shameful to leave people in the dark about this No consideration or To acknowledge that I'd waited for the application didn't even receive a sorry the property has been let This Property was let out within 3 days of waiting for this so called application
Even my partner has Emailed in about a few potential properties again Ignored so definitely won't be Bothering with Tiger lettings again

Never use these, they lied about getting in my house, I asked questions to see if there was a problem? They said no, not all just regular checks.. the next day they served my notice of two months.. I have been at my property for over 26 years, rent up to date ect.. when I asked tiger if they knew I was going to be evicted, when I rang up to query the visits to my house?.. The arrogant manager stated, she refuses to answer that question.. don't do any business with them
