Great night when it's busy. Fab weekend for the rock weekend in Jan. I suppose the original tache crew all have families, etc, now, so many dont go out as frequently as they did. It was funny to meet the offspring of one old tacher last weekend. Just 20 years old. Crazy... im old ?. Bring Lynn back to DJ more often for specials. ??

Honestly used to love this place but since the old DJ and staff have gone the place has gone to nothing. It?s always empty now. Not the same atmosphere it used to be. Management are rude. The music set list is not anything compared to how it used to be. They take song requests but don?t play your songs, I asked again for my song to be played as it hadn?t been played and was told it had so I questioned the DJ/Manager and said it clearly hadn?t as I had been in there all night and was told I would be kicked out for literally asking. I double checked with my friend behind the bar and he said that it definitely hadn?t been played. Door staff are lovely and said the manger was clearly being problematic/petty because I shouldn?t have been kicked out for asking why a song hadn?t been played. The manager is a liar and I don?t like being lied to hence why I asked her why she said she had played something that she clearly hadn?t. No one wanted to back her up and apparently she is known for doing this to people. My suggestion is don?t take song requests if you are only going to play music you like and not what your customers want. No wonder it?s always dead in there and the staff turn over is crazy now. It?s a real shame as years ago myself and friends would look forward to going and meeting up there each weekend. Apparently the manager is the owners daughter and the family that own it are not very nice people and don?t pay their debts either so I can understand why she acts as such. But I?m happy to say they won?t be getting any more money from me or my family. I will not be going there or any of there other venues anymore. Brewroom, rose and crown, west coast rock cafe etc. I actually got sick from the food at rose and crown and ended up in hospital a few years back, the food is mainly frozen anyway so in all honestly non of their venues are worth my time or money anyway. Save yourselves and go to bootleg or the Waterloo they are both great venues with lovely staff and owners, good prices also.

Used to really enjoy it here, drinks are definitely watered down - ordered double rum & cokes - they put it in a small glass so was fully expecting to feel the hit of it and it tasted barely like alcohol.You may have made a tidy profit, but it'll be the last time from me.Will be going to Bootleg from now on

Absolutely banging music! Only had double jack and cokes at £4.94 a go, so can't comment on other drinks. Properly friendly staff and patrons! Bit basic but overall well chuffed! Thanks for the mega time! Recommend as a break from the friggin dance/"R&B" of other places.
