Super friendly staff. the food tastes super good especially the breakfast and the pizzas. the drinks were super tasty and the right proportions were the mix drinks. I like to come back here again

not everyday your singaporean father in law flys over from singapore to blackpool???? had to take him to mine and my misses? favourite local public house for some good british dinner, grub and beer ?? he fitted right in with the rest of us blackpoolians, having a larger, eating his roast; truthfully he was stood on the bar stools singing with us all in no time. ?great bar service, made sure to put extra peas and beans on my father in laws plate when we asked. very accustoming.

Nipped in for a hot chocolate before the lights turned on. Place was heaving which is amazing ? clean , tidy and staff were lovely. Door man spotted a table for us like a legend too.

As usual wethersoons delivers excellent service and great prices we was at the pub next dooor and breakfast was 18 pounds so we moved to here great food and staff . We was here as a pair of couples

We didn't order food as we had already eaten, but it was very busy even for being so late in the year.
But it's a nice place, plenty of seating. So you should be able to get a seat.
Food did look good, though, & didn't hear any complaints while there. Portions were a good size, too.

Albert and Lion is a fairly average franchise of Wetherspoons, it's slightly better than the Layton Rakes but not as good as the Velvet Coaster. The food is adequate, the service is pretty hit or miss and the atmosphere is okay, but it can verge into annoyance with a lot of people in the place. Staggering the volume may help, but let's be honest, it's not that nice of a place to consider doing that. Run if the mill for Blackpool, nothing special.
