Visited to buy stroller, the lady staff wouldn't even look at my face when I was asking questions, would answer one word answer, surprisingly unfriendly for such a kids orientated place.

Got severed by a lovely lady Danielle who help me throughout the store ,as I was picking presents for my daughter. Absolutely star she is and what an asset to the company of smiths. She was polite knowledgeable and fun throughout my whole experience. I hope to see her again when I return for more presents.

Love how you can go in the store and just play with the toys what ever age you are. I have been in a few times just to see what they do and play with them,my inner child coming back. Great place and the staff don't rush you or look at you as though your weird. It's a fab place to go

An okay toy shop however the service can be slow. Staff need better training by management.

A toy had a cheaper sticker on than what it scanned for, we had to stand in front of a queue whilst they checked if we changed stickers. ( we hadn?t) Yes it?s policy to check, but it could have been handled much better and an apology made without us asking for one.The elderly couple next to us had the exact same issue, they where refunded and sent on there way?The Scottish manager clearly needs retrained in how to speak to customers who spend a fortune in Smyths. The other staff as usual were great.Just be prepared to feel like an idiot when one of their own makes a mistake.We?ve spent easily 4k in this one shop alone this year which makes us all the more insulting.

I contacted the Blackpool store regarding an urgent query re a click and collect order. Alison was very helpful and professional and put my mind at rest. Christmas was saved. ? Alison is a credit to your company.

Slightly upset after purchasing a large toy they gave me a bag to put it in, it was raining heavily so asked for a second bag was told they could only give one, said I would pay for another again told no, I then asked if they had any tape that I could fasten the bag over the top as no handles again told no,I guess someone had not had their coffee that morning and was a bit grumpy.
