Was in the squire gate store today and the man overcharged me I bought 4 solar lights n they should a been a £1 with my perks app he charged me for 6 I didn?t buy 6 lights i only had 4 in a loose box to carry them in the box I checked the receipt when I was nearly bk at the caravan and saw 6 solar lights on the receipt I have tried calling the store number multiple times since but no one answers the shop doesn?t close till 7 pm if I?m bk down that way tomorrow I will be taking the receipt and the 4 lights bk n get my £6 bk puts me off going into shops when they do this the man was too busy listening n laughing on his head price on his head n as I walked away I heard him laughing louder obviously wasn?t paying attention at the tills

My friend had a horrible experience shopping here. We won't be going back. After paying for his shopping and turning round to leave the store, he heard the checkout operator chastise him, audibly, under her breath, saying "Manners!" - presumably because he didn't enter into any conversation with her during the transaction. I didn't realise it was compulsory to have a chat as you pay for shopping?
My friend turned round and asked her what she'd said. I think she was shocked he'd pulled her up about it, as she denied having said anything. My friend asked to speak to the manager. At that point, her colleague on a neighbouring checkout called across to her friend, "I'll back you up!"
Really??? The manager came out, but genuinely couldn't care less that the grotty checkout women had lost customers through being downright bad mannered. My friend walked out, realising none of them were interested in the customer's experience.
Their job is to serve customers, not comment on people's demeanour or manners. As a former checkout worker, I used to just get on with my job and treat all customers politely, regardless of whether I liked them personally or not.
Anyway, if you shop here, make sure you smile sweetly at this checkout woman and have a nice chat with her as you pay, or she will probably mutter some abuse at you and get her colleague to back her up.

Closed when we went, Internet store times says 5 on a Sunday we went at 4 an it was closed, informed head office who just dismissed the fact that we wasted 25mins to get there an the time taken an petrol!even rang the store an it just rang out, other people on the car park tried to get in aswell,looks like you missed some money on that day!no offer of a voucher of a goodwill gesture absolutely nothing, well pound land you won't be getting any of my pounds again! disgusting customer services as they just ignore your emails! Doesn't matter that they missed a few customers they couldn't care less as other customers will be in, do yourself a favour an go to pound stretcher or b an m!
