Do not even consider this placeShocking. Is a brief word.Went through Expedia to find that when I got to the hotel after trying to call message and knock that no one is ever there.This was told to me by neighbours, I found out the hard way. On arriving slightly later 6.15pm ( to which i already messaged when I booked this would be the time of arrival) and the alternative property was the same !So before arrival I tried to call the property over 30 times, thr line was dead.On arrival, the place looked shut down. There was a light on in the hallway, door locked no answer. Front room / bar was filled full of quilte chairs tables pillows basically dumped. You get the image.Annoyed , frustrated.Expedia customer service tel number did not connect at all. And so I took the decision to leave that for the time being, I had to look around for another last minute property to stay at paying another 70 pound after paying 50 for the valron.Tried to go through Expedia for a refund for them to tell me they can't contact the property( which I already advised)They have advised the policy of theycannot refund since they cannot contact the property!These people need suing. I know it's not Expedia fault but do they not have some responsibility to the customer for safety of booking?Funny that they can take money without even a service given at all !It's now down as unavailable via ExpediaNoteworthy details: Scam , not available no one is even there

Why is this place still taking bookings?.we booked for next week but it got suddenly cancelled last night due to flooding? Actually discovered it had been closed down last week ???

Stay well clear of this dump! What a hovel! Thankgod we only had to endure one night. The shared lounge is more like a room out of a drug den you see on tv. Smells like lots of cats have been using the carpet as a toilet. Needs more painting through out! The advertised bar was locked up and looked like a health and safety nightmare. The bedroom was tiny and smelly. Hot water tap in bathroom wasn?t working and if you do go take your own towels because I have bigger dish cloths at home. I?m thankful there was no breakfast because eating here would definitely of led to some sort of hospital treatment. Our saving grace was the fact it was one night and the cafe down the street, who do an amazing breakfast?awful experience

Arrived to be told they didn't accept bookings from the website we booked from anymore although they admitted the issue was the hotels fault they told us we would need to claim our money back from the website. Lucky escape the place looked tired and dirty and was unfriendly.

Absolutely Shocking Turned Up At Hotel Owner Told Me That The New Valron Hotel Was Currently Under Refurbishment So I Was Taken Around The Corner To Another Hotel The Owners Attitude Was Totally Unacceptable If You Don't Like It Go Now After Been Taken To My Bedroom I Sensed A Nightmare Is About To Happen I Was Right The Basement Room Felt Like -15Oc So Cold No Heating, No Working Shower , The Bed Base Split So The Bed Was Tilted Sideways, The Television Didn't Work , No Phone Network Courage Calls And Data , No WiFi In The Building, A Cracked Window Panel Holes In The Walls , 3 Nights Of Hell No Lighting In Corridors Even At Night A Place I Won't Ever Return Has False Advertisement Of A Different Hotel Sleeping On The Beech Would Of Been More Warmer And Comfortable Avoid This Hotel Not Recommended At All When Your Thinking Your Saying At A New Hotel Only To Be Placed Around The Corner Inside A Cold And Damp Old Hotel.... One Hotel To Write Off Your Seaside Trip's

Avoid 100%!!! absoutley appalled we booked this hotel as we was on a hen party when we first arrived it looked terrible the cleanliness well that's on another level, we got given our room keys but not told where they was we was all on different floors,1 of them rooms didn't have any running water what so ever, another room bed sheets had not even been changed to previous stayers I was in 1 of the double rooms the TV didn't even work our water pressure was low not been cleaned dirty cups in our room with no condiments to have hot drink other rooms had rubbish in their bins out of 7 of us we only ended up sleeping in 3 rooms because the rooms was soo bad also advertise bar and restaurant but the bar door was locked and the other door was blocked off by a sofa they was empty crisps packets in the t.v room which again wasn't clean they wasn't even any staff in the hotel what so ever the shared bathroom had a pile of dirty hair and urine in the bottom of the shower, as we was checking out they still wasn't any staff to be seen so had to call the number that was on the door when I explained I wanted to check out and my deposit back from our room keys to be told it will be 10 to 15 minutes before he could come to us when he arrived he knocked on the window for our hen party to let him in he didn't even have a key to let himself into his own room didn't say thank you or anything personally I don't believe for one second if health and safety are doing their checks as it would be shut down immediately don't even waste your money ?

This hotel is the pits booked for 29th Oct arrived at 11am to a unmanned hotel with a phone number to ring on arrival. An Asian man picked up the phone so rude. Told him we had a reservation he told me to early the cleaners are still in come back at 3pm. Went back at 3pm rang the number again a miserable man came to meet us took us in to the living room it's was filthy water bottle crushed on the floor un vacuumed carpets dirty windows dusty, he asked for a 10 pound key deposit so we asked for a receipt he changed his mind. Told us to leave the key in a bowl in the hallway when we leave in the morning we had room 16 first floor we had to walk pass dirty bed sheet un clean carpets crap and bins every where. Open the bedroom door omg dusty smell un made beds dirty sheets that was it tryed to ring him he avoid our calls he never came back to check our friends in. Even said he wouldn't stay in this hotel. Broken furniture near the front door if it fell over it would block the main entrance our main escape if they was a fire was blacked with a broken slot machine and dirty bedding piled high so no bedding had been washed fir a long time We left to find another hotel which was a cross the road beautiful. Later we saw him letting some new people in so we showed them the pictures and he told us to keep the noise down we were only talking then said "fk off" never known anything like this he then shout its Blackpool what do you expect lol we have complained to booking.com for a full refund but refusing see the pictures we've taken please don't waste your money we are taking to trading standard's UK and informed the local fire deptment

This hotel was terrible, shocking vile and not fit for anyone to stay in. I was meant to stay last night (29th October) with friends but the owner didn't show up for us check in. We waited as we were told over phone that he would arrive shortly but never appeared. As we waited 2 other adults were staying so they let us in. The place was filthy and disgusting. Beds were not changed and had stains on. Carpets hadn't been hoovered. Toilets stained and looked like they've not been cleaned for however long. Fire exit blocked and corridor full of dirty sheets, in bags and just in a heap. Risk assessment needs doing on this hotel. The radiator cover in entrance hanging off do could cause an accident. Later, another couple turned up to check in and we advised them not to stay, the owner did show up but was very rude and swore at us, then saying that it's Blackpool what do you expect. Just disgusting and should not allowed to have people staying. Its a health hazard. We were very lucky to find somewhere else and thankfully enjoyed our stay in Blackpool. I would absolutely recommend that NOBODY stays here and this hotel should definitely be closed to the public.

well just got back from Blackpool, we had booked into the New Valron hotel :( the place had not been cleaned the rooms where filthy we had to ask for towels and toilet paper. it is by far the worst place we could have stayed in. I and the 13 other people in our group had to refuse to stay there it was that bad. there was one guy trying book everyone in 2 hotels at the same which was a night mare, the people who had not paid up front were asked to go and look at there rooms if they were happy to stay in them they could then pay???? most refuse and walked out because the rooms were all so dirty
