I find it frustrating when I use this petrol station, it has a very good supermarket are and the petrol is always priced competitively.
That means that is very busy, however I seldom see more than one person on the till.

Easy to get to but always find stock low (especially the bakery) and plenty of products with no prices visible. Not as good as the Poulton store.

This is the worst branch of Lidl that I have ever used and I certainly will not use it again. They allow queues at tills to get far too long before they bother to open a new till as they should do. What makes this worse is that they do not have any self-service tills or small number of items checkouts. This means joining a long queue even with a few items. This is a regular occurrence in this branch. Fortunately there are much better branches in the area.

Just like all the others, all laid out the same, so you know the layout.

No customer toilets, and no empathy for disabled customers who need the loo. They don't care. You're on your own. Good luck everybody.

Updated from a 1 star to 3 star March 2025. The tills are now opened when there is a queue which is great. However the shop is still a bit of a mess. And most importantly I often go out of my way to pop and buy their low GI bread which is delicious. And of course I pick up other stuff while I'm in there. However they ran out of the big paper bags big enough to put the bread in. So after going in a few times and them not having them I just gave up and haven't been back since.
Although the staff are lovely I try and avoid shopping here unless necessary. Lidl's fruit and veg is never as fresh as Aldi's up the road and the store is just a bit of a mess. The main upside is that the bakery is great.
The main reason for the 1 star is their extremely annoying policy of not opening tills when there are large queues. There can be 5 or 6 people queueing before they decide to open another till (there were actually 8 people queuing with laden shopping trolleys this week). If you are number 3 or 4 in that queue you may have been waiting 10 minutes already, they then open another till and the people who are 5th and 6th in the queue and haven't been waiting as long end up getting served first at the other till. So annoying!! Lidl should take note of Aldi's till opening policy up the road. If there's even a bit of a queue a new checkout is opened so you are never left queuing.
I have been known to give up and just leave my full trolley behind at Lidl because of the length of the checkout queue.

Always quick and efficient, if tills build up, another quickly opens and staff are always willing to help. Always friendly, always smiling
