Visited this bar a few times during my midweek break in blackpool, at all visits i was promp. And very pleasantly big thanks to all staff, tables clean and tidy toilets very clean to hope to visit again very soon thanks to everyone Harrywrag

Crowded,busy, and in need of more staff to keep on top of the dirty glasses and crockery.I love Wetherspoons, but the only good thing about this place was the cold beer and the quick service by the bar staff.

Food is for breakfast is nearly £7 and food is couple of quid dearer, compare to Preston Wetherspoons £3 on promotion and £5 on normal price. Beer is £1 expensive than Preston and Greater Manchester, with Worthington Pint under £2 , but around £3 in Blackpool and Manchester city centre.Updated review on having a crunchy strip burger nearly £9, small portion like going to weight watchers, for the price again £3 more than Preston and Manchester of under £6.

Great place to relax and eat in Blackpool. Plenty of tables, multiple floors. Nice atmosphere, good service and the later night food small plate options was very welcome and delivery to our table was efficient on both visits.Will definitely come here again on our next visit to Blackpool.Well done Wetherspoons ??

Absolutely ridiculous. They wouldn't let me swap any items on my breakfast, as i dont eat meat so just wanted hash browns eggs and beans with toast. They said I would have to pay for a full breakfast then add items on at 90p each so would of cost me over £15 just for a breakfast. That's daylight robbery. Won't ever come here again! Staff was poor. And even another couple that was sat near us said they did it to them as well.

We came here two days in a row. First day food was not what I had somewhere else. Mediterranean Salad with Halloumi. Halloumi was over fried.Dark and dry.We were so exited about the same meals.But nothing compare to other Wetherspoons we went.Today we had fish. This pure fish died a second time. Cod with a curly ending.Staff downstairs was always friendly. Upstairs they seemed to be stressed and a bit unfriendly. We don't go again.

We had an evening meal on a Wednesday evening. Food was basic, but cheap. Service was fine, meals arrived promptly. We were quickly provided with a box to take half of my daughter's pizza away with us. We returned for breakfast the following morning. Everything was fine again. Staff were nice and friendly to us on all occasions, I think some of these bad reviews were from grumpy, rude people who routinely speak down to waiting staff. If you're nice to people they generally respond in kind.

Terrible service. Dreadful experience. Given short measure twice. No receipt given. Tried to talk to manager. He accused me of shouting at him. I explained I was deaf. He stormed off and said I had been awful to him. I tried to explain again. Decided to cancel my meal and drink. Asked for a refund. Got one this time. He called another manager and I was escorted out by Security. Dreadful experience by 70 year old woman. Going to contact Head Office. He is not fit to work in a bar nevermind manage.

OK visited the Layton Rakes roof bar for a pint inquired of the bar man if I ordered a pint of real ale on my app would someone have to walk all the way up with it he said yes they would so I sat at table 340 and for some reason? ordered a £1.77 pint of riddles best for table 110! realised my mistake and reordered for the correct table when the bar man brought my pint I asked if he knew were table 110 was he realised what I'd done and fetched my other pint for me exceptional service

Apparently, the hospitality sector is struggling to recruit good staff, after my experience at this location, I would tend to agree. Attended this location with my partner her son and his friend, both of who reside in Blackpool. Ordered two rounds while at this location both via the wetherspoons app, the first round, no dramas, the second round ordered is where the fun begins. First of all on ordering the second round via the app, it quite simply did not arrive. We could see the round of drinks purchased sitting on the bar for in the region of ten minutes and in the end decided to collect them ourselves as it was a hot day and we never wanted warm drinks. On collecting the drinks, the glass that came with my drink, a tin of lemonade and blackcurrant, was smothered in lipstick so obviously hadn't been cleaned properly however rather than cause a fuss I decided to drink directly from the tin. My partner who had ordered a Gin and tonic then tasted her drink only to discover the gin and tonic was minus the gin. She made her way to the bar and spoke with the barman, a bald chap wearing sunglasses in the shaded area of the bar and explained to him there was no gin in the glass, to which the barman asked what her order was prior to replying "yes there is I put it in there myself" he then pointed to the glass and said "you can see the gin at the bottom". The barman was then advised that the fluid at the bottom of the glass was melting ice and invited to inspect the contents which he refused to do. My partner then asked to speak to the manager to which the barman's reply was "there he is (gesturing to a male in a blue shirt with a squashed nose, while waving me away) and saying, "go". My partner then replied to the barman "don't be so b****y rude, prior to walking away and approaching the alleged manager who was as disinterested as the barman. My partner then returned to the table and sat down with us prior to the alleged manager approaching the table and stating as my partner had sworn at the barman we were no longer going to be served??? He then walked away refusing to engage in anything that was said to him and was acting in a passive aggressive manner. I asked my partner what she said and she advised as already stated, this confused me as the table sitting next to ours was using a variety of profanities and yet the barman and alleged manager had suddenly become very sensitive to what was being said around him. The alleged manager was then asked for the head office number which he provided and also asked for his name which he refused to give. Leaving was not an issue as it was our intention to leave following our second round anyway but on the way out we managed to locate the real manager who listened to our complaint amicably, provided his name (which unfortunately I cannot remember) and stated "I know who you are talking about" prior to promising to look into it and contact my partner regarding her complaint. Unfortunately no further contact was received so it seems as though the manager although seeming to be genuine on the night was just going through the motions. My advice to those thinking of drinking or eating here is go elsewhere, where your custom is appreciated.

Dropped in for a few drinks on a night out, Surprised to hear music playing but thankfully it wasn't too high to hear each other speak... Toilets were clean as was the rest of the pub, and there was actually a lift up to them which was great as my wife and I have poor mobility... Overall a pleasant place...

Usual awesome boozer of it's ilk, exactly what it says on the tin, each and every time. A great pint of real ale, Fab choice, same with the food, you get what you expect to get with no complaints. Id give it a 0 if I could. Worst meal I?ve had in blackpool. My food was cold and unseasoned & my husband?s was burnt. Somehow. However, you?ve got more chance of an olympic medal than a refund. Staff are about as useful as a chocolate teapot. & one of them thought he was special because he was wearing a hilarious creased shirt. Id just go to Yates next door if I were you.

Went in for breakfast and ordered on the app?..waited over 40 minutes and still no food even though people who came in after me were being served their food and drinks. Went to the bar to get a refund from the ?manager? (a young arrogant, rude little blonde haired girl) and she did nothing but be rude and confrontational. She told me a refund had been arranged but yet to receive. Needs retraining or firing??avoid the place

Ordered 3 different dishes, kids chicken nuggets, adult burger and chips and a jacket potato with cheese and beans. Kid?s meal 8 out of 10 burger 6 out of 10 jacket potato 0 out of 10. Small jacket potato but over compensated with salad so it didn?t look lost on the plate, ate the jacket which was about 4 or 5 fork fulls. Decided to complain and the member of staff we spoke to even said they thought it was too much salad on the plate and took the plate to show his manager who spoke to him very aggressively and said we can?t have a refund as the jacket had been eaten! We didn?t really want a refund but some acknowledgment that standards weren?t met would have been acceptable, won?t be returning to this venue again. Managers name is Toni and I think she needs some training in customer service ?
