Me and my partner came here for 3 nights Monday just gone, we had the most amazing time here, our room was the family room with sea view it was beautiful, the bathroom was gorgeous we could use the towels they left us without paying any extra, we woke up every morning and got the breakfast (we paid for it to be included) the full breakfast was amazing I also got the fruit they left out for anyone to pick at with yogurt nice and refreshing, both women who served us were so polite and caring, we went down to the pool area it was lovely, they had a hot tub and you could turn it into a spa where the bubbles get stronger it was so relaxing! The staff was absolutely lovely made sure we were okay at all times, really polite and helped us with anything we needed help or any questions we had, the entertainment was beautiful we could only sit in the reception area with the entertainment because there weren?t many people there but it was still really good we had two singers every night an they always interacted with us and we played bingo, the bar staff were polite, we went somewhere each day and the tram stop was right outside the hotel so it was very easy to get to the north pier and tower plus other places, we had my partners birthday on Wednesday and one of the singers got everyone to sing happy birthday to him, we even came back to the table at the end of the night to 2 shots off one of the staff and a note saying happy birthday! Best place to stay in my opinion and we will most definitely be going back we miss it already!

Had a lovely stay at the Doric. We were impressed by the exterior, looked very nice, very impressed by the interior . Our rooms were lovely, modern, warm, spotlessly clean with everything we needed , comfy beds, spotless fresh white cotton bedding, plenty of perfect towels, toiletries, hairdryer, perfectly fine TV and free WiFi.The staff, from reception to bar to restaurant were all so helpful, friendly, efficient and made us feel welcome ,relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the indoor pool, it's open from 8 am to 7pm so we got to use on both days , no need to book , just a code to get in, towels provided, great steam room and a jacuzzi too. Some people have mentioned about the pool only being 3ft deep , it is , but for us with little kids it was actually probably better. The games room was a bit disappointing because about 3 of the machines didn't work , pool table and air hockey was enjoyed though. The kids age from just turned 3 up to 10 really enjoyed and got involved with the kids evening entertainment for that night. We had bar meals , ie. Burgers, pizza, etc which were all fine and reasonably priced. We had breakfast which was lots of choices of cereals, fruits, yogurts, juices, unlimited toast, tea, coffee , then cooked breakfast of choice brought out freshly made when your ready.. I always like at least 2 juice and 2 or 3 teas so I think the breakfast price is worth it as other places might charge less for a full English but then charge separately for drinks. Again the staff were friendly and attentive, definitely making us feel nothing too much trouble and relaxed. For the price probably best place to stay in BlackpoolRooms: Spotlessly clean . Bathroom was gleaming.

It started off bad. As stood around at reception and no staff at the counter. The parking is a joke. Only a few places on the roadside. Therefore miss leading for secure hotel parking. Then I found out they had changed the room that i booked. I ended up in a room with a single bed and bunk beds and the smallest tv.It was like going back in time. This hotel is very dated and old.The bathroom hairdryer from the ages.Place Smells worse than an old people's home.Saying that the place my granny is in smells better.Very dated decor, the floorboard squeak can hear everyone walking around. When in the room it sounds like rats running around the walls but this may be down to people walking above me on next floor.2 person lift....Lift is really crazy. You can only get one person in it with a case as so small.?One other thing I booked to try this hotel as it had a pool. But I shall not able to get to use it as closed at 5pm so by time I'm back fir doing business stuff it's closed.Beyond a joke for a hotel .I never tried the food as if the guest area isn't up to standards then I'm not risking it on food. As if guest area is a mess then I look at it then the kitchen area isn't up to standards either. On the plus side.In the bar they had two singers and two dancers and there singing wasn't so bad.I don't mind theatre and cruise ships as use to work on them. These singers did a good job.But the review on hotel I would rate as only 2star maybe a 1 as one of worst for a long time. And over priced at £125 per night.Imperial hotel maybe next on list. As cheaper too and looks better.Rooms: Smell and very dated socket loose to were kettle plugs in.Very poor standards.

We stayed all inclusive. Check in was smooth. Couldn't get WiFi on 4th floor but the receptionist moved us without any issues at all. The room including bathroom was very clean. The matress in room 28 has seen its day with springs right at the surface (but I told reception and the man said he'd order another straight away )The menu is VERY limited and the breakfast menu is beyond confusing (picture posted below ) The Lancashire cooked breakfast. One morning i got 2 sausage 2 bacon, beans and poached egg. Couldn't eat tomato ( rock hard) Now on menu, it says served with chefs special. Fried bread, hash brown, black pudding, mushrooms ok that sounds like a good breakfast. NO, Its any ONE of those the chef decides to do that day. So 1 morning we got mushrooms the next we got 1 hash brown. Totally bizzare ? The next morning i got only 1 sausage and 1 bacon so no idea what was going on in the kitchen to go from two to one. The portions are small at both breakfast and evening meals. Definitely designed with pensioner appetites and not anyone younger. The quality of the food is OK at best. I asked for cappuccino with breakfast and was surprised when I was told it'd be £3 even though I was all inclusive. This was however resolved once again by the very competent staff. The bar drinks included covers all basics. The pool is small but ok for a dip as is the jacuzzi. The steam room need attention as the bottom of the wall has the panels hanging from the tile which just spelt danger to us so we avoided it. Overall the staff were amazing and couldn't help anymore and it was clean. Those two things go a very long way

Quite a nice hotel. Staff were friendly and rooms OK. Not too busy when we went. Team stop opposite so easy to get to either end of the frontRooms: Not too new but nice non the less. Heading too high when we got so needed to turn down and open windowsWalkability: Short walk to tram stop

Clean lovely staff but mattress old and requires replacing drinks limited to separate shots for doubles etc which causes extra washing up and clearing up. Entertainment good food lovelyFood & drinks: Not worth all inclusive prices
