Rude and unhelpful staff to the point I mentioned to one of your staff if he was that unhappy in his workplace he should just quit I've seen happier looking bulldogs. He proceeded to have a winge and moan because I wanted to trade something in and something didn't go his way all I think is it was all because he was unorganised, the only way I can describe the man is he looks as if he lives on his own with 50 cats. Other than that every other member of staff was fine.

The stuff are very racist i went to buy a console they said come here and there and I did what they asked then they said only one person can look at the console they didn't show me I was helping my friend to buy a console because he doesn't know and they didn't let us look while there was a 4 other British people doing the same thing and the other time I went to sell something they were looking at it for 15 minutes then they tested it for 30 minutes then they said we won't buy it and they had no reason to not expect it it clearly says on the app how much the buy it and what they buy they give you less price than it says on the app even if they buy it

My partner come in and was told that they were busy so leave the bag with the stuff in and he will get a call when they have looked through and checked them. 5 hrs later got a call so he went there.
Was told they don't take ps1 games ? and they then tried to open SEALED Blu-ray's ?
Upon checking the ps1 game which is old and in perfect condition there was scratches all over the disc and one of the cases broken!
What type of people work here!!!!
They were rude and aggressive and swearing!!
They place needs auditing and the staff need to take some courses in customer service!

Scam on warranty
My husband come with to buy to product
Remote . I was standing there when the woman said it would fall under warranty.
The remote broke witch is a common fault and was assured that it would fall under warranty
When he come in it was classed as accidently damage absolutely a con and scam you will lose alot of customers for this . Even the email he received stated there's nothing thay can do

My brother come in and bought a oculas 2 remote
He was assured when he bought it that the common fault under joystick would fall under warranty
I was going to buy a remote aswell today until he said it's classed as acedental damage. I remember him saying to me months ago when he bought it has warranty but personally after this has happen to him you lost a customer.

Downhearted I Believe the five year warranty is a scam
So I bought an oculus quest two remote because my last one split in the middle overtime under the joystick which is a very common thing in the Oculas remotes
So I spent £85 4 months ago And the woman said to me on purchase that if it happened, I wouldn?t need to worry. I could bring it in and I can either be replaced or repaired and there?s a five-year warranty.
So it?s happened again today I went in and said hi all pleasant thinking that the the issue Resolved
On my arrival, I got told straight away it is accidental damage And that I?m not covered for that when I was reassured when I first bought the remote I Was
Then he said it?s clearly accidental damage my response was you cannot damage it because of the O circle around the Oculas remote so you cannot even drop it on the joystick. His response is we can?t do anything for you. It?s down as accidental damage. I tried to resolve it, but he said it?s accidental damage He said you should?ve looked after your remote. I said I have to use the joystick to play otherwise why Else would I buy it?
Absolute fraudulent scam when I was guaranteed at purchase So thanks cex for the scam I?ve taken my money and giving me false promises And five year warranty what absolutely means nothing

Offered me one price initially which i agreed. Came back an hour later after they tested it and offered me a lower price. I decided I'm not accepting and got it back and they actually gave me back in worse condition because now it had a scratch on the outside of it.

First and last time ever stepping foot in a CEX store. Sold them my iPhone 13 Pro, which they gave me what I deemed a fair price for and the guy that I dealt with us after our initial interaction was decent to be fair. But the lady we first dealt with made me wish I hadn?t bothered, got the impression she didn?t like having a job. Very cold and frosty with no apparent life in her, Felt like I was doing something wrong. I?ll sell to Cell Fix round the corner next time, where I sold my partners phone and should have sold mine in hindsight.
