Extremely bad customer service !!
I just went to Argos to but cheap mobile phone for my child, after i went home we did realize i got the wrong model so i went straight back to Argos to return the phone and Fox my mistakes. IT literally took 20 mins from purchase to me returning the phone unused, everything in place and only mistake i made was to open the box. Arogant and dismisive kayla ( girl with Black hair) was uninterested and lacked any understanding from the get go. I literally got dissmised and ignored based on the fact that i dared to open the box. She would not engage with me or even try to understand my poont, i was literally dissmised and ignored within 1 minute into conversation . Upon my frystration i called for store manager Connor and to my suprise he was even more dismisive and uninterested in helping me at all. I was literally talking to 2 Argos Staff members pretending to be robots and blindly repeating Argos policy without any desire to help me at all. I havent experience worse customer service every before. Upon my qestioning about why im being video and audio recorded without permiission, Connor quickly switched off camera and pretended like IT was never Turned on. I dont know Who employees those two unprofessional youngsters but IT definetely was a bad choice. Im very upset about poor customer service i received , i wont come back to Argos and i wont recommend IT to Anyone i know in blackpool. I understand its hard to get a good Staff but taking untrained people like them will definetely result in more upset customers.

The Argos staff working today were so arrogant that there was no service with a smile. If I wasn't buying presents, I would have got my money back and went elsewhere

Terrible service big queues with staff talking and the girl going off to help someone on the computer that had just walked in when the queue is 8 deep and we had been waiting 15 minutes. To then eventually get served and snd us all to wait at another counter again while a male colleague is chatting to a customer and the girl strolls back with no apology to any of us. Terrible not going there again

Bought sd card online and after open it and test it it was faulty, went to return they refused to return as its opened , I was shocked, I can't return a faulty item because the packaging opened ?? absolutely ridiculous

Went in there yesterday to take a phone back as it updated then keep going on and off I was told by the manager kaz that thay need proof of it doing it then she's tried to say the phone was dropped on the floor when it didn't she was trying to find every way to stop doing a refund but in the end I won and she's was counting the money out the till I said to her it should be £130 she's said I was patronising her humm no you need to do you job better and not to be rude and may once in a blue moon smile but in total go to a different argos as the staff are slow and rude .

Installers came to fit my washer so useless they couldn't undo a pipe or touch the stop tap to turn water off all they had to do was use the old pipe that was already on old washer said it would flood kitchen my daughter boyfriend did it in 5 mins only a bit of water came out pipe what a joke useless they are just laziness

The 'manager' Kaz has an awful attitude and terrible customer service skills. I was refused a refund for a chrome book I bought on the exact same day, came in with the receipt, all unopened. I never even opened the box. She is very unpleasant to deal with. I saw her in there again recently and she sneers, pulls faces and is very unprofessional in my opinion. I am now stuck with an expensive chrome book that has caused me nothing but issues because of this manager. I called head office and complained about her appalling attitude and refusal of an exchange and 'extra training' was mentioned, which she still clearly needs.

Absolutely appalling attitude from the " Store Manager " when returning a faulty tech item . She was extremely rude and dismissive when I challenged her with her companies own wording on the " Returns " T&C statement when returning an item well within the required 30 days, saying " she did not write it and I should take it up with head office " . At one point she stormed off and refused to help me whereupon I had to call customer services. I asked to see her again and only after I informed her that I had spoken to Customer Services she then offered to send the item for repair . Needless to say I am extremely disappointed and will NEVER shop at Argos again !!

Appalling treatment by argosOrdered a garden storage box for my mother in law who is house bound and can't get out and to be delivered to her home we paid by card, on delivery the driver was asked if he could please carry the item in the hallway for her as it was heavy which he did very reluctantly and in the process caught her in the stomach, when the driver had gone she realised that the box was damaged and on opening the item inside was too, so we went in to our local argos where the item was ordered and told them so the item was arranged to be collected which they did and we was told that we would get a refund in 5 working days this was 10th October, fast forward to today 18th October still no refund so rang up only to be told the refund had only just been processed and we will have to wait ANOTHER 5 days for a refund so that is now 10 days in total, absolutely appalling treatment by argos,so beware when ordering anything big check it while the driver is there as you will have problems getting a refund, Argos really needs to change their refund policy.Date of experience: 18 October 2023
