DO NOT SEND PARCELS HERE. This shop left my 5K worth parcel lying out on the shop floor! To make matters worse the manager didn?t seem to care when i expressed my unhappiness. Avoid at all costs.

This has been a great convenience store for over 55 years. Always good, helpful and friendly. They?ve taken over the village Post Office too a while ago. So you can get Postal services 8am-10pm weekdays. And Saturday & Sunday. Excellent

I have been coming in here more or less every day for a couple of years, and I've got to say, thank goodness for this place. The village would really struggle without this shop, and the staff are so friendly, especially the owner who always asks if he can help and you only need to mention what you want and if he doesn't have it generally gets it in for you, also he's really kind to my Dad. I like talking to Peter the night manager, and the Scottish lady on days. It's also got a good magazine selection for my niece.

Fantastic staff so helpful. I use the Post Office to send parcels regularly and they always find the best and cheapest deal. Can't fault them at all.

Can't understand the poor reviews here! I find the shop a real gem, and have been using it for years. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the shelves are extremely well stocked, and in a relatively small space I'm always amazed to find virtually everything I need. And at competitive prices. I don't eat meat, but my Mum has found the meat they stock very good quality. I also find it useful that you can buy fruit that is ripe or nearly ripe rather than having to keep it at home for ages before it's ready to eat as when buying from the supermarkets. Always easy to park to pop in. The shop is very well organised - I think the staff do a brilliant job and this is a truly valuable service to the local community.

I usually go into the shop every Friday to buy fags and beer and they know I'm old enough and every person working there knows I'm old enough but the owner asked for my Id when he's served me in the past and because I'm a farmer I don't carry any id because I'll lose it. He was acting like a dick and laughed at me until I left the store.
