Today (14/10/2023), I visited screwfix BlackBurn store in UK. I was wearing purple colour Pakistani traditional Kurta Shalwar. My sister-in-law was also with me wearing abaya and hijaab. I bought a door handle and lock for my kitchen door. I asked the duty manager in a very respectful and professional way to look for the type of handle and lock we were looking for the door. He looked at us and just said "say Please". This means that your staff judge the people by their looks and religion and makes them beg to buy things from them. He didn't asked any of other customers to say please. Why he said this to me. He made me to beg for handle and lock, even though i paid the full amount.Please teach some manners to your staff to deal your customers equally. So shameful and disrespectful. Shame on this type of racial behaviour especially from one of your duty manager.

Found staff not helpful as stick was not available but an alternative was not given.I felt I had to go out and look at another similar product myself and then go back and being told again not in stock until Thursday 2 days later.It would be easy for the staff to offer alternative product in that is available.
