This place gets a bad reputation because of some of the people who live there. I've lived here, from September 2020 to January 18th,2021, and the staff were brilliant. They'll go above and beyond to help anybody, and especially the residents. I can't fault this place, because you never know what's around the corner. Everyone has bad luck, and you never think its gonna happen to you.... But it does, and its places like this that help you... But someone is always disrespectful of the people here, when its all because they've fallen on hard times... So, just think before you judge.

I had a terrifying moment some powder high lunatic of a young woman chased me out of the area with a plastic sword thinking it was a machete. Be careful going there during and after sunset.

You should have seen the size of the Watch that the Security Man was wearing - we were just delivering Pizzas to the place - we got in more trouble finding the right entrance than the Residents all-together have been accused of - whilst at School in RE instead of Bible study we were taught about Great People & The Founder of the Salvation Army whose name I can't remember off the top of my head was just one of the people we studied - I hope to teach Residents how to Program Computers - aka Ibrahim d'Ewood (4 Generations of my Family Lived On Bolton Road, Ewood & Now I am a Revert Muslim)

this place has a bad rep due to anti social behaviour and substance abuse in the area. if you look beyond that you will see a charitable business and an array of people working really hard to support vulnerable people and TRY to change lives and have a positive impact.

They say they are a charity and help people who are vounerable, to who have mental illness and find them help based upon their needs. I unfortunately found myself to be one of those persons. They are full of c#!p, all they're interested in is taking from the poor, help nobody. Lucky enough that there are lots of people who care and donations flood in on a daily basis ?, I just don't understand why they take more than half of your money, rooms are dirty and meals are poor. It's wrong. What does all the money go on. It's not food, not cleaning staff and no services offered, just can't work that one out ???

I made donations to this company and now I regret it. They contract workers with no qualifications, poor understanding and an attitude problem. And when they mess up they blame somebody else. They need to learn to recognize their own limitations rather than going around saying that they know everything and embarrass themselves. Disgraceful.

Staffs are excellent understanding very helpful they protect vounrable people the place is always clean and tidy you get donation food every night breakfast and tea is very nice they are caring and funny the security staffs at night are very friendly keep the place safe the staff they help you alot with addiction problems financial problems mental health counselling budgeting housing the place it's a bit rough just keep yourself to yourself dont lend money out

Staff help u but onice u get certain crimes they wont let u sleep in that hostel so it's not a charity it's a bissniss and they have to get money so if u don't pay rent even 20 pounds the manger kicks u out so I would advise get a private landlord
