Absolutely shocking school. If your child is ever a little naughty, do not send your kids here. Their method of handling it is to suspend your kids for a day, maybe 2. On top of that when your child is bad they don't tell you on the day they wait till you send your child back the day after then call saying that thier behaviour was put of order yesterday so they are suspended. Also, don't expect any info or help from the receptionist team they will just sit behind the desk chatting amongst themselves and would be more help in a wax museum as an exhibit. This is a school that has just received a lot of government funding to help, yet their methods are send them home. I would strongly advise any parents not to send their children here as there are many better options.

My daughter went there from year 7 - 11 (ye she liked it and made friends) but there is a reason for that *she hardly got any homework throughout the years (even during GCSEs) but felt like teachers didnt about any of at because when she did get some sent home and she didn't do itWell..... its ok atleast she didn't go on report. Or get any detentions or ewt! so the kids could go of doing what ever their wanted. coz its not like she had ewt better to do! (WELL!..I think its a disguising. *NO SYSTEM* No homework. No communications with parents.(or Students for that matter) feel like teachers are just there for the wages / coz it defo isn't to teach!!!AND FINALLY....My son just started in year 7. n. I put my trust into this school once And that Was BAD enough and i defo wasn't making the same mistake twice. Forget that he is at a different one and has had more homework now in 4wks then his Sister had while she was doing her GCSEs what's that tell you! ???.

It was okay this was my transition and I really don't like it there, the students don't have any respect it's only some, they even swear which isn't okay in my opinion and the graffiti on the walls is is just a no, how can this be a school with such little respect towards other I feel like this should be dealt with more, I wouldn't recommend taking your child here unless you want to! I feel a little bit experienced but still not good, but one incident has made me feel horrible I'm not going to tell the story but the way they deal with consequences is horrible it's unfair considering the fact someone started it and only got a one day isolation while the other who defended herself got suspended, I think this is so messed up

I was a student at Our Lady's and St John Catholic college from September 2010 to June 2015 and I really enjoyed my time at the school because of wonderful Teaching staff and students. This school really helped me to be more confident in myself especially when I did GCSE Drama and having Mr Jenkins as my Best Drama Teacher. I miss being a student at Our Lady's and St John Catholic college because I can't believe that it's been 7 years since I first left year 11 and wish I could turn back the time to enjoy my experience as a student again ??????????

This is probably one of the worst schools you can attend. The teachers don't give one about the students and only some remain that actually put effort into their lessons. Overall, i would not recommend to any parents (and or carers) who care about their child's mental wellbeing.

This school is terrible I'm a pupil there and we get treated terribly most of the teachers don't have manners. Bullying gets dealt with atrociously I get hit and punched every day and teachers Don't do anything to help I have to come home with bruises and I don't want to tell anyone so I have to hide them. I would suggest going to BCHS or Darwnen Vale
