We were recommended this pub by a gentleman we met while driving through the countryside and were pleasantly surprised to find they served food till 9. Excellent service, excellent food and a lovely establishment. We shall be visiting again.

I have been meaning to try this place for a while and for some reason, never getting round to it. Finally managed it today for a Sunday Lunch and it never disappointed. Flavoursome meat, lovely mash (which is rare in pub meals these days), great service and I think, good value. It's a lovely place and deceptively quite big and great staff. I will be back (Not aiming for an Arnie impression).

I'm giving a low rating purely on the the small portion sizes. I had a roast beef dinner. It tasted really nice, but the portion size let you down. I was very disappointed. 2 roast potatoes and a small amount of mash. I think only one potato was used to make the mash and roasties. £18.95 is way overpriced for that. I left feeling hungry. I won't be going there again. I don't know how you get away with serving meals that wouldn't even satisfy The Borrowers

Cracking country pub. Quiet and secluded. Just had a lovely pint of guinness, really smooth and creamy. Not eaten here for a while but will return. ?

Had Sunday dinner for a relative's birthday. Food was delicious and the staff working were friendly and accommodating.

Perfect little country pub with great food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend you visit. Beautiful countryside views too.

Nice burgers, but on the night service was extremely slow. However, the staff were extremely apologetic about this. The pub was nice and cosy with a good atmosphere. A new menu coming soon I believe.
Parking: Lots of space to park.

Very friendly staff and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend the roast beef dinner and gammon. Will definitely be visiting again. Especially when its the burger night, pizza/pasta night and pie night. Son wasn't overly keen on the lasagne but came with a nice garnish.

Heard there was a new team at the Plough, so went for lunch. I had 3 small plates for £15. Tempura prawns, salt & pepper chicken & chicken liver pate. They were all delicious & filling. Will definitely be going back.
