For the second year running, Hugo's have hosted my daughter's birthday and they always go the extra mile to make it special for her. The staff are friendly and make you feel like nothing is any trouble. Thank you all!

We had our little boys 4th birthday party here today. The staff are so fab, really friendly and helpful. I just handed them a box of decorations and they did the rest! It was so lovely to sit back and enjoy the party and not worry about setting up or clearing away, the kids all loved it and it was all just very easy! We also had batman visit which was great and really made the party. We've been here for various events over the past few months too, aswell as just to play and have some food, and have never found a fault. Highly recommend.

It?s not Michelin star, it?s a fantastic cafe/ice cream bar, the food is great and so are the staff, I would highly recommend a visit to this place

Visited here from out of the area with my 1 year old and grandparents as staying nearby. Food etc was fine and average for the location. However, the soft play came with lots of rules (many do) and I was horrified that parents were not allowed in the soft play area. More so it went far back and was dark so you could hardly see your child. My son was getting pushed and shoved by older children and their parents were not paying any attention! We did have to go into the soft play to remove our child before he got seriously injured by an older child. Oops we broke the rule! The under 18 month section was even taken over by children who were about 8 or 9. Again, nobody was enforcing the rules! I get it was busy, and I don't know if it was just poor parenting on this occasion but it really upset us. Will not be returning and will not recommend.

Been to Hugo's many times for food or an ice cream and it's always been very good, however yesterday was totally uninspiring. Called for some ice creams and the service was appalling and despite being 4 staff on the counter and originally only one person in the queue before us. People kept coming from the soft play area and being continually served before us and even someone new who had just walked in were about to be served before we said something. Two of the three ice creams were full of ice crystals and lacking in flavour. Shame because we've always enjoyed calling in Hugo's but certainly won't be rushing back, maybe all the effort is going into their new bistro in Garstang.

This is by far the best indoor soft play in this area. My 2yr old loves the dress up and toy corner which is a really nice touch. And they do kids parties as well which we're hoping to book.

Very relaxed setting for our autistic boys. Lovely to be in a safe setting with caring staff taking our drinks order and seeing the boys enjoying themselves.

Great place to stop on the A6 for a drink and something to eat. The staff are welcoming and the food is reasonably priced. It's not fine dining it's just good tasty food.
Parking: There is a small carpark at the rear.
Kid-friendliness: There is a chargeable play zone for children

Mainly a review on the soft play. It?s decent value and food is fairly cheap. This is however reflected in areas like the costume and role play area being neglected. Costumes are old and often ripped and barely any (if any) of the toys work. It looks like it needs serious TLC in that area. The soft play bit is good and being smaller, never ridiculously busy. It just needs a clean and looking after a bit more closely.

We love Hugo's Soft Play!
We just had a party here and it was great, the staff were helpful and happy to help and the soft play is such a great hit with the kids.
Unlike other soft play centre's we've been to, Hugo's is that bit smaller which means there are not many big kids running around bumping into smaller ones. There are plenty of costumes to dress up and baby toys for the younger ones.
Food is excellent too :)

Lovely little spot for lunch! We stopped off for coffee, toasties and fries and were really happy with the quality! The iced lattes were lovely and the food was all great! Priced ridiculously well, will definitely be making this a regular spot for lunch!!

Had a wonderful time her with my 3 children, ages 6,4,2 , lovely staff , yummy fun and drinks, will be returning. The only thing I would suggest is building an additional gate or safety precaution with the back door which leads instantly to the car park for safety reasons
