What a lovely little find, called in quite late but nothing was too much trouble, sat outside over looking the valley which is gorgeous. We order the sandwiches fish finger and the club which normally stop serving at 4pm but again this wasn?t an issue, both were delicious. Service was 5* friendly and casual and we even got some cakes to take away. Definitely recommend you stop, you won?t be disappointed.

This establishment was recommended to us and it lived up to it. We had the 1/2 Scottish breakfast which was enough for a good filling breakfast. The food quality was great and served by friendly and helpful staff in a clean and pleasant establishment with ample parking, albeit some of the parking was on a slope which could be an issue for motorcycles. Dogs were welcomed and thanks to a local for the recommendation.

Just visited this cafe for lunch was excellent food and service, plenty of space in the cafe and outside, we definitely will be coming back, would highly recommend people to visit this cafe you won't be disappointed.

I found this place around 2000 when passing on my way home from Mull.
Had a great meal and have been visiting ever since.
Now the original owners have sold it to the Daughter of Hamish, a musician. They continued running the monthly musical evenings for some time and still have one now and again. It's a 110 mile round trip but worth it.
I had to stop driving at the end of last year as I went blind. When our NHS fixed my sight l returned to see them. I was greeted like lost family. It's that sort of place with good staff and excellent meals. I return whenever I can.
A mixture of English, Scottish and Mediterranean food all cooked on the premises apart from pies.
Take the time to visit.
You will like its inexpensive (£10 to £25 a head) home cooked food and friendly staff.

Just had a lovely meal at Hamish?s. Hubby recommends the haggis starter, I recommend the chicken wings starter. Service was brilliant, despite them being extremely busy with a large function. Always a pleasure to visit this lovely venue ??

We hired the side room for my daughters Baby Shower, the team at Hamishes went above and beyond, the Buffet they prepared was all home cooked and delicious, thankyou would definitely recommend xx

always go for our yearly Christmas outing and get the 3 course Christmas menu never have I once not enjoyed it absolutely first class food atmosphere and attentive staff. My mum loves to sit in the window so she can look out at the beautiful scenery and Rebecca goes above and beyond to make this happen it's always beautifully decorated inside with a roaring fire it was a delight and I already want to book for next year and look forward to hugs again off Rebecca it's got a lovely family feel about it thank you so much ??

I hosted a baby shower here today and it was just fabulous, we opted for an afternoon tea for 12, it was all lovely. The team were so welcoming and helpful during setup, set down and throughout the event! They dressed the room beautifully to match our theme and included themed cupcakes too! We had a member of the party in a wheelchair with limited mobility and found the venue super accessible.
Natasha was absolutely smashing and couldn't do enough for us. 10/10 would recommend!!
