since when the service staff changed, I don't remember, maybe about 3 months ago, the service is below criticism, a few days of waiting for the prescription to be filled and an additional week of waiting for the notification that the medicines are waiting to be collected, in addition, they have reduced the working time 2 or 3 weeks ago, even though they have endured working Saturdays before. generally a mess, lost medicines, in short, never Well again, I'm just changing the pharmacy to another one

While I do believe that the staff try their hardest, having to wait over a week for a prescription, then going in & being told 1 hour & then coming back time & time again for you to find the prescription is still not ready is just a bit much.

Awful service!Regular mistakes with prescriptions with incorrect amounts & drugs given. Attitude is awful although this seems to be a company issue rather than with the individual staff at this pharmacy. Now left without drugs despite ordering well in advance amd the indifference of the pharmacist is shocking. How the hell do companies like this get contracts to provide NHS services?!?

very poor, kept waiting 50 mins on a prescription they have had two weeks only to be told they cant get some of the items in stock. On the items that was given the quantity was incorrect. Will try my best not to use Wells again.

Very disappointed with the standard of service ,a sign saying closed from 1.30 till 2.30 , I called at 1.20 closed and lights off,my prescription was sent across on Monday its now Friday got to wait untilMonday because your closed on Saturday

Not fit for purpose.Can't even open on time.You queue up for an age, when you finally get your turn your prescription is rarely ready. You are told to come back later in the day to collect it, and queue again.Who on earths got so much spare time to waste at this establishment.

Recently, I visited Wells and was pleasantly surprised by the improvements they've made. The service was a lot quicker and the shop was more organized, which made my experience much smoother. It was great to see that they're making progress in providing better service to their customers.However, I noticed that they still have a designated "covid jab area" in the shop and I think it's time for them to get rid of it and return the shop to its normal layout. This will create more space for customers to browse and shop comfortably.Overall, I'm happy to see that Wells is making improvements and I hope they continue to strive for excellence in their service and customer experience. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend giving Wells a try and seeing the improvements for yourself

Atrocious service! Been there twice for COVID vaccinations. Each time we were told to wait as they weren't ready. 2nd time vaccine practitioner was sitting at a desk in the back having a cuppa while we had to wait 20+ mins before we walked out in disgust. We will not go there ever again. They clearly don't value customers.

Just tried to get my prescription at 5.35 p.m. and the doors were locked with a notice stating that that if you need a prescription urgently phone the number provided, tried phoning whilst outside but gave up after 7 minutes, customers were already in the shop but nobody would open the doors, also, I'm done to be notified by text when my prescription is ready, but no text from the last three times, had to phone the doctors to see if it is ready. Maybe they are short staffed, but surely they have a duty to stick to the notified hours, cannot get there before 5.30 weekdays, so how do I get my ( much needed ) prescription.

This pharmacy used to be brilliant with very helpful staff.Something has changed recently. The good staff have left, apparently because the conditions there were not good.Prescriptions are often messed up, late, incomplete etc. Many parts of the NHS have been overworked for the last few years and pharmacies have taken the strain massively, but there is no excuse for the poor service at this pharmacy- phone not answered, often hung up when it is answered. Head office promise return calls but don't make them. I've been in the position recently where I have actually run out of vital drugs because of them. It's just not safe. It's challenging enough living with complex health problems without having to deal with a totally unreliable chemist aswell.Switching to Whitworths over the road. What a shame.
