I called in to this Boots store one day last week for some pain relief and came out feeling nothing but embarrassment. I completely understand they have to ask who and why you are buying Codeine for as I work in the Healthcare Industry myself and very aware of addiction and after effects. I was served by a small woman with dark and glasses, who quite frankly hasn't got any customer service skilly about her. Face like a slapped behind springs to mind. She is nothing short of rude. With a shop full of customers she asked me who they were for, and then said I bought some last week which I did, but what business of hers that is I don't know. As I said I understand she has to ask these things but in a shop full of customers I was very embarrassed to say the least and was made to feel like a child, and found it quite unnecessary. She could have taken me to one side. Quite frankly I am absolutely disgusted by the whole situation and feel this lady needs a lesson in manners and customer care as she quite clearly lacks both. I've now heard this is a common thing regarding this lady and Boots as a company really need to investigate it before she upsets more people, and loses them more customers, as I for one will never set foot in the that shop again. There is a pharmacy further up the road and they are nothing but helpful and kind. She needs to take a note our their book. A little kindness goes a long way.

Always helpful, always friendly and always willing to go that extra mile. And in the face of adversity, even the rudest customers are treated respectfully. Alison especially always ask how things are for me, knowing I am a carer for my sick husband. A friendly word goes a long way when the staff might be the only people you will see for days.

Been trying to contact Boots to sort my medicine for 3days, I've tried calling but nothing. Now I can't get my medication back to my normal chemist. Just a joke! Not satisfied with this at all. If i could give 0 rating i would.

I had a minor ear infection for which I asked for advice, Alison was patient and kind and asked me to wait to speak to the pharmacist( he was on his lunch break), I did and he listened patiently and recommended a solution, which is working perfectly, Thank you very much!
