We have our phones with Tesco Mobile for years .never had any major issues,this time had to have a phone replaced on the tesco insurance that was spot on 100%,took the older and new mobile to Accrington tesco to be told they won?t transfer my information and contacts ect ect ,told me to go to a phone repair shop in the town. ,I did that the guy took 30 minutes to transfer all the data ect over at a cost of £30. Pluse I paid tesco insurance £20 excess ,that?s £50 ,.the repair shop said he could have repaired my phone for £40 ,,I will definitely think more when my tesco contract is up , the Accrington phone staff just not helpful at all. Love this Tesco, I do 99% of my food shopping here, it?s really spacious, loads of parking, staff are lovely and they sell everything you need

I've been going to Tesco Extra in Accrington approximately 3 times a week for the past 8 years. I'm sorry to say that the majority of staff members are ignorant and miserable. I've made a point of smiling and saying hello to them all and I'm shocked that they're so rude. The women are worst of all, especially the supervisor with blonde hair, I've said hello to her and she's blatantly ignored me, she looks at me like I'm committing a crime. I usually use the self serve tills but 2 days ago I decided to use a staffed checkout. I couldn't believe how rude the female staff member was, she didn't say hello but she spoke to another staff member instead of interacting with me and I genuinely felt that I was an inconvenience to her. There are a few male staff members who are polite and say hello to me and recognise that I'm a regular customer but the female staff members are extremely rude and ignorant. The security staff are jobsworth too... one security guard saw me at the checkout and watched me pay for my items then go straight to the customer service counter and he came over and went through my bag and checked every item against my receipt as I was waiting for assistance. He had watched me pay for everything and he made me feel extremely uncomfortable, I could tell he was enjoying the power trip he was on.

Best store for miles around. The staff generally work hard and do the best they can. Everything under one roof, plenty of choice, food always fresh and good bargains to be had.. apart from when the freezers don't work!! Clothing department has up to date styles and excellent prices with the clubcard. Great car park, plenty of space and you never get wet at least! Good cafe too. The staff do their best to keep the store clean and stocked and the outside areas are kept free from litter. Tesco can't help that there are beggars on the doorstep. They are not intimidating and you don't need to support.

It's a large and spacious Tesco, generally good, though too often there's trouble with the freezers. Decent cafe, loads of parking.

Dont forget the fact ive been in there daily for the past 4 years. Power trip and a half for that little tesco worker who no doubts needs it in their boring mundane life

Update on my original review. Had an accident in store with some drinks & stuff, the staff we're pretty amazing. Red wine & Cider doesn't go well together by the way ?
