“Great prices, but all the better if you have a massive chest freezer. Everything is geared up to multibuy, unfortunately I've just got a normal fridge freezer so most of the offers I can't take advantage of. Nice size store, friendly staff, and you can pick up some bargains along the way too.”

“Excellent layout and fantastic staff. Shelves were well stocked with plenty of choice. I particularly liked the frozen food section, tall glass fronted cabinets. This is one of the larger Lidl stores. Easy car parking with mother and child parking, with disabled parking just outside the entrance. All in all, it was a great experience.”

“This is our local store and we find it really, really handy if/when we forget bits and for milk, it saves us carrying it back from the big Tesco. I've given it 4⭐ because I find most of the sales assistants pretty miserable to be fair, not all of them are but more are than aren't. However, the handiness of the place and the fact it's open 18 hours, and until 12 midnight makes up for it.”

“Good Parking. Seems a slightly bigger store. More room to move around then Burnley or Rossendale stores. Tills, we just glided through, no fuss.Think we'll be buzzing in here again.”

“Really pleased with my experience!Came in with my son (he has autism and can struggle in social situations). Instantly I was made to feel at ease by the staff and the young lady at the till was fabulous! (I think her name was Olivia) she instantly made conversation with both me and my son, and we didn’t feel rushed out the shop. I’ve never seen this young lady before but she sure is a credit to the co-op!”

“Best store for miles around. The staff generally work hard and do the best they can. Everything under one roof, plenty of choice, food always fresh and good bargains to be had.. apart from when the freezers don't work!! Clothing department has up to date styles and excellent prices with the clubcard. Great car park, plenty of space and you never get wet at least! Good cafe too. The staff do their best to keep the store clean and stocked and the outside areas are kept free from litter. Tesco can't help that there are beggars on the doorstep. They are not intimidating and you don't need to support.”

“Went in for just a card and some flowers for my uncle, glanced over to the stationary section and wow I was so surprised when I looked at the price I’d not seen such cheap stationary in years! I had never really liked Asda however the prices of the stationary and other food items amazed me?.”

“Tesco have just opened their new store in Accrington. Before this, there was only an Asda and an Aldi, so I definitely welcome another store. The store is very easy to find, it is based where the Accrington college used to be situated. The car park is under the actual store, so is very large, although I always find that under-store parking seems to be dark, maybe a few more lamps wouldn't go amiss. There are two cash-points at the main entrance and I quite like the box with two foot-prints painted on the outside of them, to show people to stand back when waiting, I personally loathe people standing to near me when I use an ATM. Just inside the entrance on the right is a play area for the kids, you will notice when entering the store that there is enough light, as the window-walls are next to the 'Travelator' that you go up to the shopping level. Of course, the store is an 'Extra', so it offers grocery, electronics, clothing, pharmacy and has a stylish cafe just as you get to the shopping floor. The aisles are very wide, so it's great to get round, this in fact is the reason I shop here, also down to the fact that the Tesco is new, so it's fairly quiet at most times, I think this is down to the locals being loyal to Asda, but I would recommend they try Tesco out at least once or twice, it's a lot bigger than Asda and I find that there is more on offer at Tesco.”
