THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS AND THEIR REVIEWS ARE NOT REAL.I ORDERED A LAMB CURRY AND RECEIVED HALF A CUP OF WATERY SAUCE AND A PIECE OF RIB AS BIG AS MY PINKY FINGER.I ORDERED THE SAME FROM REEDLEY takeaway and recieved a plastic take away box full of meat and sauce.
The owner of easter promise is a very old rude man and unexperienced
The portion was put in a sauce tub about 2 tablespoons is what it looked like.DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE THESE PEOPLE TAKE COMPLAINTS VERY LIGHTLY AND ARE VERY EXPENSIVE

Was in the area and looking for summat to eat. Reluctantly decided to try this place as the other joints were further away.
Saw their special offers menu.
Ordered chicken curry which came with 2 rotis, salad and chutney. He said give me 10 minutes...
There were 3 guys in the shop together who had a largish order. And another guy.
I was expecting it to be less than 10 minutes as the curry was already (on display) made and just needed heating.
But it just dragged on and on...
I browsed their entire menu, browsed all the food and drinks they had on display.
I watched those 3 guys eat some starter course of samosas and pakoras.
I watched about 4 to 5 other people come in, place orders and some got their food served and left. Most were orders for rotis or naans... so the chef could have sorted out my 2 rotis while he was making theirs....
I got fed up and waited outside for a good few minutes.
I then sat inside the shop for a few minutes...
I then decided to go check on my car as wasn't sure it was parked in a good area... crossed the road, up the hill and back... Good few minutes...
Still food wasn't ready. By now the 3 guys who had long finished their starters were stopping about, looking tired and worn of patience....
They got their big order and left...
Another guy got served then finally my curry was served....
I think he charged 50p less then what I saw on the menu. Not sure if this was a mistake or 'compensation' for the long wait but it wasn't enough either way because I didn't even get an apology for what took ages...
Oh the food...
The curry came in a little plastic tub not a foil tin so it lost its heat quickly and had to be re-reheated...
The curry masala was like a home made one, quite thick, splodgy texture... not bad but not great either... The chicken wasnt fresh-fresh it had started to turn brown. The chunks were OK mostly edible.
The chutney was alright.
The salad was fresh enough.
The rotis were big enough, but looked like not much care was taken when they were rolled out as they were not exactly round.
The portion size was enough to fill one person so price wise it's not too bad.
But I wouldn't want to go through that long wait for a take away...

Customers are a burden over here they?re very moody and look annoyed at you from the moment you walk through the door, they take your order and then make you wait an hour without any updates, just completely ignore you standing there. Nice guys ?

Probably one of the worst customer service I have received, rude staffs, cold food and missing parts of the food. Waste of my money! I would not recommend and go back there ever.
