Worked there for 18 months and apparently I was one of the good guys according to the foremen and wannabe foremen. They treat 90%of the drivers with complete contempt and don't seem to realise thats why their turnover is on an unprecedented level with most decent companies. They are a firm of charletons at management level and most of them have very little iq which should raise alarm bells at most companies, but not here. They have a poor record with paying fuel companies aswell as the staff that enter their fantasy football league, in which I was completely ripped off by my own boss, if that's what you can call him. Seems like they don't like ex-drivers winning their competitions as they won't pay me out my 140 pounds winnings despite it being winner takes all. The boss who sounds like gon fibden says no-one has paid into the group, even though he himself was in it, despite being pretty poor at it, and that I could maybe get my paying in fee back. I told him I have proof of winner takes all and that most of not all will have paid into the group, but he has either no brain or he's just plain lying, but it probably is both. Another guy named similar to pish caverna has I'm told, a small one by his ex-wife and therefore....better stop, his ten bob solicitor might get him a hefty sum of my winnings. Oh btw their beds are pretty poorly built too, I know, I've tried putting them together and it's fair to say that people get massively ripped off on that level too. Deal with these at your own peril folks. ?

AVOID. Delivery and Customer Service are a total disgrace. If I could give a Zero star rating I would have. Bensons are now in ?breach of contract? of a legally binding contract, which I now intend to pursue.

I ordered an Eve mattress from Benson's in late November 2022 - an item weighing over 50 kg.Confirmation of this order promised: "We'll send you an email with tracking details. As soon as the carrier is ready to deliver your order, they'll get in touch with you directly to confirm your delivery date. If your order contains a mattress over 40kg, it'll be delivered by a 2-person team to the room of your choice due to its weight."The mattress was delivered whilst we were out, with no tracking info. or notice. My neighbour agreed to accept it and it was placed in his garage. No delivery note was left at our address and it was only in a chance conversation with our neighbour a week later that I was made aware of the delivery.I found it in a grubby and partially opened box. However, although I managed to drag it into our own garage, I was unable to haul it up flights of stairs and into a bedroom.After repeated complaints to Benson's, despite promises and platitudes, no action was taken to either remove or redeliver the mattress.

The salesperson in keighley was amazing. I should of been wary of bensons for beds, when the store spent nearly 2 hours getting though to there own customer servicesI really like my bed and mattress it?s first classIt?s just a real shame the delivery drivers were animals that smashed my house up, and now not accepting liability and I?m having to occur more costs to go down the small claims routeThere is no customer service - wait time is an average of an hour and half, emails take a average of a month to replyAvoid at all costs - the delivery service is as shambolic as the customer service teamEnd result lovely bed, damaged lights, stairs, painting, wall and flooring - that they said they didn?t do, even sent photos of the damage #itsunrealBefore I went down the small claims route I even contacted the CEO who said his colleague would be in touch and guess what they didn?t bother

Cant be bothered to open weekends and as such anything sorted for Monday is impossible.Cancelled our Delivery twice due to their mistake.Had to call to fix the issue but then pushed delivery out a month even after I had booked two days off work.Truly a disgrace

I've been working at Bensons for a year now and I like it. As I HGV driver I have no complaints. I find people friendly and they give you a hand if and when you need help. Like anywhere else once you fit in its a joy to go to work every day.UPDATE - unfortunately Covid put me out of a job and 6 months later there no news of a restart. 30Sept
