Adrian Barraclough! Blue and purple hair, likes to use the power of management however I think he needs reminding he is SHIFT manager??
Pathetic excuse of a manager, spoke to me with a horrible attitude, has no customer service skills whatsoever! Surprised he is allowed to deal with the public!
I came to return my Stanley cup which was still in the original Stanley & Argos packaging with barcode and number sticker clearly visible and untouched. However he proceeded to tell me I had broke into the packaging and used the item so I wasn?t allowed to return my item, I then asked if I could swap it for another bottle, which he then rudely declined as-well. After, having a heated discussion with him he then asked me to leave the store and didn?t let me return my item!
Absolutely disgusting, I then went to the Blackburn store, they were extremely helpful and returned my item for me with a welcoming and pleasant attitude.

an online order that i placed did not go through unfortunately was an error although i had paid. no fault of the staff. my mum went into the shop to collect my order (baby stroller) as i was without one. i was unable to go in the shop as i was with my baby in the car. she was served by adrian who couldn?t care less. didn?t want anything to do with her unless she had a bloody barcode which i did not receive due to the faulty order.
so she had to sit with my baby in the car as adrian wanted to speak to the person who purchased it. spoke to my mum like something you?d find on the bottom of your shoe!
i went in and was served by a lovely lady called shaz who took my order number and typed it into the computer. she then advised me on what to do if my order wasn?t refunded and helped me get the stroller. absolutely lovely lady. no credit to her manager at all.

Awful customer service. Tried to return a faulty item after following the instructions on the website to be refused by the bloke behind the till.
Went to Blackburn Argos straight after and had no issues at all in getting a refund.

Never wished ill will on anyone as much as I have for Adrian at Argos. With all of these reviews cursing him I?m wondering how he can even sleep at night.
Such a patronising and condescending man, wouldn?t be surprised if someone puts a hit out on him ??
Disappointing that Argos is allowing such horrible management to run the place. God knows how many customers they?ve lost over the years because of Adrian?s nasty attitude.

Wow, just tried to return a Roku TV stick due to the hdmi lead being too short and the remote didn't work well, was refused a refund due the box been opened, How can you check a product without opening the box? , but they said that's our policy, I will never buy anything from Argos again... So disappointed..

Just returned from Argos Accrington. I?ve never witnessed or experienced such disgusting customer service. Having read all previous comments about Adrian I have to agree. Absolutely shocking, I really felt for other customers in store. He was blatantly disregarding the consumer rights act and making ridiculous excuses as to why he wouldn?t accept returns. Shocking than someone like that has made it to management level.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
Back in February I purchased a knife block set - the other day I went to pull one of them out and the knife came away from the handle making them faulty.
I contacted Argos directly who were so helpful and told me not to worry just return them to my local store as they had 5 years warranty on them.
Today 21.05 I turned up to Accrington Argos to be met with what I would only describe as absolutley appalling customer service from the manager there named Aiden (he had bright coloured hair)
It took him five minutes to push my knife back on to the handle to then be told there fine and they don?t need exchanging. This is just disgusting like I was going to take home a knife set that some random man has just had his hands all over.
He claimed that they were now not faulty so no exchange necessary. His tone was disgusting ?do you not know what soap is?
After about 20 minutes of literal arguing and I mean this man was the rudest man I have ever encountered he exchanged them.
He caused me nothing but stress for absolutely no reason. This guy should not work in retail he is not trained to deal with the public.
I?ve also looked at some other reviews and how convenient is it that it?s only ever women complaining about this Aiden?
The female members of staff were LOVELY I actually felt sorry for one of them who he was shouting at.
I will never and I mean never return to this store I?ll use Blackburn store instead - Accrington Argos if you want to stay open Aiden needs to go. What a shambles! I?m also going to be contacting Argos CEO and Head Office something needs to be done about this guy he has no right to treat people the way he does.

I went to buy a television this morning and had trouble parking but got near enough. A young man called Scott came to see if I needed any help. I had the product number and he typed it in for me and went through everything with me.
I tried to pay with my phone but Santander security wasn't having any of it so I nipped to the car to get my card and he waited for me. Having sorted the payment he went to get the TV
I went to bring the car round and parked right outside the door I dropped the seats and he loaded the 55 inch TV in the boot for me.
What cracking service. Scott is a credit to the Accrington Argos store and I would like to pass my thanks onto him again.
I would much rather Argos be Argos and not have to walk round Supermarkets to get there. Yes the parking is unfortunate but with supermarkets I would have even further to carry it. At Accrington the front door is nearer and with staff like Scott it's fine. The TV is set up and working fine.
I hope that it stays that way as I wouldn't like to have to return it going off the customer service and management reviews on this site. Perhaps they should take a leaf out of Scott's book .

I purchased a baby's highchair online and received it today once I assembled the highchair like you would with anything you purchase I realised it was too small for my child went to return the item back and was told by the short old lady who works as a customer service assistant you can't return the item as you have assembled it.. I said are you being serious obviously I am going to assemble the item thinking it was suitable for my child to use she said you can't return it I said I only received the item today and it's not suitable anyways after arguing with her told her to bring the manger who told her she can return my item as it's not suitable poor customer service from the short old lady with glassesshe was called carol

Convenient for anything you need from their catalogue. Service is pretty quick in the centre of Accrington. The only downside is parking availability.

The guy with the dyed RED hair was so arrogant! All because he had to key in my FT and code as I hadn't got my email with the barcode.
It seems many of the reviews are about him,Argos you need to look into this!!
