We had a fabulous experience last night for supper. Food was really tasty, well presented and very well priced. The fish pie and chicken katsu curry were particularly good.

This is a great pub, one of the best in the area, but service is hit and miss and the opening times are arbitrary (out of season that is).
They don't do food in the week which is understandable, but it is the poor service, the fact that it can be shut when you rock up that sully this great pubs potential.

Mel and the staff were great, and the food was enjoyed by everyone. It was an all fresh and nice selection of hot finger food. Well presented and monitored through the afternoon. It was a good send-off for my wife.
