I frequently visit M&S cafe and i have never had a complaint as i usually enjoy my time there, however after my visit today i feel compelled to speak up.
I witnessed an older member of staff speak incredibly rudely and disrespectfully to a younger member of staff right in front of the customers. This really disappointed me as there was no attempt to keep the conversation professional or private, it was very disappointing. The younger member of staff looked visibly upset but remained composed and kept a smile on their face despite the unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour from the older staff member. This is not what i expected from this establishment, if this is how staff is treated in front of customers i would hate to imagine how it is behind closed doors. This really needs to be addressed as i am sure i am not the only customer to witness this.

I love M&S's Foodhall! They offer such a variety of things. Whenever my husband and I come back from London, we normally stop and buy some goodies. Their strawberries are so sweet and juicy, their special offers are 'must buys', and their 'free from' are especially for my husband. I have been using M&S for years, and the thing I know above all is that the food will be good. Like a lot of people, we are on a low budget, but sometimes we can enjoy their food at a special offer price, and it's a treat.

Service was very poor. lady on her own serving. A que of people waiting behind us. We had jacket potato with cheese, asked for coleslaw but she had run out. Jacket potato was cold and the cheese was just sprinkled over from a grated cheese pack straight from the fridge. (Should have been melted) . On the whole a nasty experience from a m&s cafe. Definitely won?t be going there again.

Me and my partner had such an amazing experience today with a customer service gentleman named Steven at Whitstable Marks and Spencer?s at around 16:50 at the self checkout till area.\\n\\nHe was extremely polite and lovely to chat with whilst I was with my partner and newborn son, he helped us with using the self-checkout machine whilst being ever so polite with such gentle manners which we both were so happy to have met him at the store, we will always shop at Marks and Spencer?s in hope we see Steven again as he?s a credit to the shop as such virtues and manners are hard to come by so we applaud and congratulate him for being the reason we all left with a smile today.\\n\\nThank you so much Steven and to Marks and Spencer?s for having such an amazing Staff member.

Staff in this branch are wonderful, so caring and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble! Served today by a women with short reddish brown hair and she is a credit to you!

I loved the service here very helpful , the selections were very interesting. I had the tuna, onion & cheese sandwich with chips and earl grey tea with cream. Children had the ham & cheddar sandwich which they loved. The hot chocolate was high quality very nice!This place was very clean and the ambiance was quiet. I am glad I came here.

So cold in M&S café today. Not pleasant sitting cold whilst eating and drinking. Several people in here are cold. . No scones for lunch time rush AGAIN.
