The pub is a converted Cinema, so is a wide open space. The area has been opened up to the sunlight with three large picture windows. If you want the toilets you have to climb three sets of stairs from the bar area.

Popped to The Peter Cushing for a meal but were asked to leave because we had my daughter's 2kg chihuahua with us, asleep in her carry bag. Food bill was refunded and our drinks, which had been served, were going to be put into plastic glasses for us to take away. Pointed out we had nowhere to drink them, as we had been told dogs were not allowed in the garden or on the forecourt, and we were then allowed to stay to finish our drinks. Fair enough, there's a no dog rule in all Wetherspoons pubs and staff were following the rules, but signage needs to be way clearer. We found one small notice on an internal door, hidden among several other notices. Not obvious at all! Also, while Wetherspoons allow guide and assistance dogs, they do not allow emotional support dogs. So much for supporting mental health!

My favourite witherspoons to visit. It's got a beautiful back area where you can sit outside and the food is really good as well for the price. Staff are always polite. I enjoy going down there for my lunch on a Wednesday

I loved this place. Went by accident for a drink and discovered a quirky venue inspired by Peter Cushing who used to live nearby. Being Weatherspoons, they do food and was impressed by the fish and chips. I imagined everything to be microwaved but the F&C were as good as anywhere.

The Peter Cushing is a good representation of a Witherspoon Public House, it does what it says on the tin, plus they've saved a bit of cinema ? history ?

It was very busy but managed to find a table and service was good. Not a place I would want to spend a lot of time but for a couple of beers and a cheap meal it was good.
