I received really good customer service from Luke the assistant manager. The work undertaken by the technical Louis was top notch. This is probably the best vehicle autocentre I have ever taken any of my vehicles to in the past. Highly recommend. Couldn't do enough for you and threw in the odd bonus given the amount spent. Really satisfied thank you Luke and Louis

Got my tyre changed on 17/2/24 and a tyre check. On 19/2/24 booked for diagnostic check, free repair and brake check. On the 17th the free report for the car the mileage was 125550 but on the 19th it changed to 100000. Not sure how I?ve lost 25,000 miles, the report also shows what I?ll describe as a complete fabrication about the tyre health level. I?d advise against Halfords if you want people that actually do the jobs there booked in to do. They also lied about who did the work on the car in their forms being told ?Luke? did the work only for ?Ayden? to have completed the form as though he?d done it?

I would not recommend.I booked a battery test here, which only takes a few minutes, and then noticed on the confirmation received that it said "expect to leave your car with us for the day".I tried to phone them several times to clarify if this was not a while you wait service, but could not get a reply. I sent a text asking the question, but again no reply.On the day of the booking I decided to drive in to their premises, and hopefully get my battery tested. The entrance was severely restricted by a large truck unloading, and there were no parking spaces whatsoever. The few actual allocated spaces in front of Halfords were were crammed with more vehicles than there should be, and there was just enough space to get turned and make an escape.Nobody with any common sense would want to leave their vehicle in an area like that.* For clarity, I have tried to respond to Sophie's reply, but so far no luck.Hopefully she will see this edit with my booking reference number A390B047364, that will have my main contact details.*** FAO Chantelle, for further clarity, the BOOKING REFERENCE NUMBER is above, and I have also emailed your customer services@halfords with my contact details.I have now posted this review on Trust pilot, and you can also contact me there. ***** FAO Chantelle .Please read what I have said.Your should already have access to my contact details. Booked full service, thought it would take about 3 hours, had the car back within 40 mins, not entirely sure everything has been checked as it was a 77 point inspection and for £239 I expect it to be thoroughly checked. Light came back still not fixed to be told it was electrical and has been sorted. Went out again 2 days later and said it could be electrical and they don?t deal with it!

Unfortunately my previous 5 star review (see below) does not hold anymore since the previous manager (Ian) has been replaced by another manager (Tyrone) who greeted me this morning at 7.55am with much huffing and puffing and looking at his watch - yes I was 5mins early, I usually deposit keys through letterbox as I work nearby - but door was open this time with lights on and he was initially stood by his car next to the door putting his shoes on before joining me in the office. There were no Halfords parking spaces available - the 'manager' was parked in the MOT bay closest to the door. The tone of his voice, huffing and sighing whilst logging into his PC expressed his annoyance at having to deal with me 5mins before official opening time. Service was booked for 8.30am - after not hearing anything by 2pm and unable to reach them on the phone I walked to their premises to find out if service was complete. My car was not where I left it (in Halfords area) but in another companies parking bays with a 'lovely' note put across the windscreen stating that the parking bays were for Screwfix customers only. Manager nowhere to be seen so had to go and find a technician to see if car was ready - it was, and he duly handed over the paperwork. Not happy with the communication at all, or the fact that they park cars in other companies bay, without informing owner car is ready for collection. Dreadful service when having tyres fitted. Avoid at all costs!!! Ended up going to Kwik Fit to sort out Halfords issues!

to beautiful little Audi TT was in for its yearly MOT, and as i'm part of the premium motoring club that Halfords do, one of the perks was a free MOT, so I took advantage of this with my TT.Booking it in on the Halfords website was easy in the My account, I received a few reminder text messages which as helpful, however 1 point that would be helpful is in that text message, you say the date, and to be there 10 minutes before my booked time and how to track the cars progress, but not the time actual time its booked in for. That might be helpful going forward.MOT was done when they said it would be and I later received an email with a details report of my cars health and any points needed to be looked at or need fixing. This is a cool feature.Staff were kind and helpful, albeit I waited in reception 10 minutes before I went around to the garage part to get someone's attention. 2 people walked back out after a few minutes of waiting.Overall it was a great experience.

Amazing experience, I had my car booked in and dropped it off 7 days early as the mot was going to expire. They did it 4 days earlier than expected due to a cancellation and had everything ready for me when I turned up. This has by far been the best experience I've had when taking my car for a MOT
